Hi, I'm glad to find this, i think i will use it as guide for my upgrade. Currently have i5 6500 and EVGA GTX 1060 6G SX on a Asus B150. Got a couple of questions tho
-Is keeping on i5 the best idea? Everytime I tell people I will upgrade they say "go for the highest i7 you can"
-How noticeable is the upgrade in graphics going from the 1060 to a RTX 2070?
I think that if both your monitors got DP, then you should go with those
Thanks for answering, I wanted to know your opinion about that
Thank you a lot. ill show it to my friend!!
I don't know
I have always played in laptop, so i don't know if it's fine
I chose it cuz it was half the price of a 22" samsung
(I had never heard the brand Janus but it has a great warranty with a great store)
I agree ^
Thanks, its my first build and I know nothing about the ports needed by a gaming pc but I think that if that mATX has the normal thinks (withouth thinking in sli or OC) it could be fine
Hi, i have a problem with something like this
I was going to buy a Gtx 1060 6G, but the seller told me that there is only the 3G avaliable to import
I don't know much of this, its my first build
should i pick the 3G or wait for the 6G?
so should I buy a Wifi adapter btw?
I think that brands would change tho
in my country is cheaper to pick some of the stock that import, but Im going to import the GPU, Mobo and Case
I was going for a Gigabyte B7 Sniper but the green doesnt fit with my case, instead the MSI fits perfectly, but I'm not sure. I want a good quality build as my first
thats perfect, im going to see if i can get it here
i actually don't know what is IPS and G-Sync or what does it do :/
I like your build. a lot
i'm thinking to get a EVGA 650W +bronze to a similar build, does it worth?
I'm from Colombia, Latin America (not columbia-america- please...)
a store have the gamemax here, but i'm going to order the Gtx 1060, the Mobo and the case so I think that could be good idea to order the PSU, that EVGA is good? I dont know much about this (first time builder)
and 650 si not much for my build so?
Thank you very much
So if i could get a Z with a similar price that the B, it would be better even if 'm not gonna use neither SLI or OC?
I'd pick Razer
Actually I have the Razer Blackwidow Chroma, its an excellent mechanical keyboard with all the colors that wou may want and customizable, the same that the mouse
Mouse: I have the Razer Naga Chroma, this is usefull if you like MMORPG and things with movility (19 buttons) you can go for the Razer Naga EPIC Chroma,. this last one is wireless
if you're planning OC you should get a z170 mobo
i did it, thanks, is in other reply
there is the list, maybe the brand of the RAM, SSD and HDD may change because in my country some others easier to find or cheaper
this is the PSU: http://www.gamemaxpc.com/products_94_74.html
Someone offered me that in a pack with other things, i haven't asked for the price, bur i know that is like 80usd or something like that, ill confirm now
Why do you say this is bad?
I had never had a decent pc to run games so I only play MOBAs and MMORPG, I play other in Console
i've never tried to play better things, once I tried ARC: Survival evolved and my laptop almost crashed so i don't know whatelse to play
I think I could afford the K and the Z Mobo, I mean, actuallty I don't think I would need OC, maybe because I had never had a decent pc to run games so I only play MOBAs and MMORPG, I play other in Console, but with overwatch, i discovered the magic of FPS in PC, so OC right now is not a need, but maybe in a future i could think about it
after that useless history, would be a better option 6600k?
Another thing: with a gtx 970 will I be able to play overwatch and wow in ultra? :'/
Hello, I'm going to build my first pc for gaming and I find very usefull your guide. Thanks for helping this noob
I have 2 questions:
-if I pick a gtx 970 it would be needed to do many changes? Maybe I'll use the money to another brand ssd
-Could I use this case? http://www.corsair.com/en/carbide-series-spec-03-white-led-mid-tower-gaming-case
I don't like the micro
Thank you very much for the help. I admit that I am afraid for my first build
