Currently I get about 60-70° on the GPU when on load. This is also running the stock nzxt fans. If you want cooler results, maybe swapping the fans on front radiator/case fans would do the trick. But as of now the temps are well under what I expected.

It's the same 4 pin connector you'd find on the end of a led strip. So instead of using the include remote control or molex for power, I plugged the strips directly into the mobo, allowing me to control from windows.

Sleeving job looks sexy. What's the random blue wire for the x62 ? I have the same cooler, but only have it plugged into the power / cpu_fan / usb

Got them off of amazon, and plugged them right into the RGB headers in the mobo.

The ram is gorgeous! I just ordered my parts for a kabylake build can't wait. I was hesitant one spending money on the ram and x62, but they just look so clean and you can literally change the theme of ur pc on the fly.

Apprently the razer turret isn't all that great. The lapdop is nice paired with a k70 or k65 (but a bit pricey). All depends on the games you play though.

Nice touch with the lighting. The 980 is a good card, but you could have gotten a 1070 for a comparable price with better performance. Gotta fix the cable management. I know you were probably excited just to boot everything up, but with a clear side panel and the Hue+ showing off the components you're going to want to run some of those cables through the back of the pc case.

So cleannn. I dig the green scheme. I have the same video card. Does great for 1080p gaming, but I can't wait for the 1080 to release. Might i suggest a tri monitor mount? It'll elevate your monitors and you can slide the sound bar a little further back. Might give you a little more desk space. +1 for great components and greeeenn

max refresh rate of 60? What article was this. I currently game with a 1080p monitor at 60hz, but you should be able to even run 4k games at moderate settings. Your fps depends on what game you're playing. You should be able to check benchmarks for this specific card.

Yea, there's really no excuse for a mess of cables. It's a free way to improve airflow and things just look so much cleaner that way.

Thats nuts. I have the same 212+ cooler and i get maybe around 36+ on idle. I already reseated the cooler and added new paste and im getting the same results. Im going to go through the break in cycle and see if it improves, if not ill probably opt in for liquid cooling when i upgrade my cpu/mobo

I'm actually using Arctic Silver 5 myself and I'm getting similar temps on idle. Is this due to their 'break in' period?

I know the feel. Might want to consider a modular psu down the line. What I did initially was run some of the unused cables out the back of the case and tucked them away into one of my unused harddrive cages. This way when you look through the window it looks cleaner, and some of the mess is hidden. Oh and zip ties. I use lots of zip ties.
