Comment reply on Forum Topic "Is the Ryzen 7 1700 worth it in 2019?"

  • 1 point

I know I plan on getting a new GPU in the future but for now my main priority would be a new CPU. In the future im going to get a RX card for sure because they are dirt cheap as well. thanks for the suggestions. But for now I want a new CPU and I cant decide between the Ryzen 7 1700 and Ryzen 5 2600? the 2600 performs better but comes with a bad cooler and the ryzen 7 1700 has 2 more cores but performs a little worse in games but has a good cooler with RGBBBB! help me.

Hello , sorry for the really late reply. I had alot of problems in the beggining but it has nothing to do with the bios version. I didnt push the cables enough in. It will work no matter what bios version you have I think

I live in Croatia. I couldn't afford a 1050ti or a 1060. There was no 1050ti's in stock at that time and the 1060's were still very expensive beacuse of miners. Now the SSD. I have 5 games installed each game about 7-22 gb and I still have 125 gb of free space. Thank you Eltech for the nice comment and thank you for explaining to this guy everything about it.lol

At first I had issues but thats my bad beacuse I didnt push the cables in enough so my PC wouldn't post. So far its amazing. Never had a fast cpu like this. Its running really cool as you can see and cinebench r15 scores at stock are: single core 134 , multi-core score 480. The motherboard is great it has 3 fan headers, red led lights all around it and it has a nice look.

what do you think does ram speed make a big difference with ryzen after a few months of optimization. do i really need to get 3000+ mhz or should i go for a 2400mhz kit just like you did. i would pair it with a ryzen 5 1400 or 1600 great build i love the red and black theme!
