Thank you. Yes this is a fantastic case to work with. I just measured and i have a little less then a inch of room for gpu to front fans. not much space with this large gpu. If your planning on doing the front rad. possible you could find slim style fan. also sorry for the late response.
Awesome build. That's weak that you'r having trouble with the lighting I too have the zotac amp extreme and have had no problems only thing I read was downloading the firestorm app for their website since the provided disk didn't work for other. Hope it gets all sorted out for ya.
Thank you! And I much agree there isn't many cases with the bench form factor so easy to work on and no need to support a heavy gpu or cpu cooler. When I found the case only newegg business had it in stock and limited on amazon I haven't looked in awhile. But I highly recommend the case if you like the style.
Killer build! I made the investment and bought the zotac amp extreme and couldn't be happier with its performance and aesthetics.
I haven't had any issues with the motherboard. Im not sure what you can find these days as far as z97 boards go.
Lol saw cold area instantly thought washington. Cheers for you'r Neighbor in Renton. Nice build as well.
Thank you It's mush appropriated.
BEKANT from ikea.
I did a while back I was using the motherboards bio's easy overclock tool and it put @4.6 but voltage was a bit high so went back to stock.
Thank you. Yes this thing is by far the largest card I've ever owned.
Nice! hoping for a good season.
ah man weak I just looked I bought mine through newegg business "I think" I hope it will work out for ya!
That's one fine drawer you have there. If I didn't just upgrade my case I would have bought it. Nice job on the build!
Ahh nice I have yet to see this case have a custom water cooling on here so you may be the first.
Awesome Im still enjoying it and I hope you will as well. hopefully see some build pics soon.
its just for decoration
lol its a conspiracy
It was a option that showed up when i was in check out for it to be delivered sameday... but yes i've see the digital credit and all pass on it for it to come sooner.
I havent gotten that far yet only played a 4k video on youtube that was about it.
Ha something along those lines. Mainly its a spare to have on had just in case i had a gpu go out or for testing.
Ah thank you for you build! I've had a hard time trying to find a cpu cooler that would fit the asrock A68M-ITX 2.0 motherboard I had to planed on using my Cryorig c7 but ran into a problem with it touching the orange heatsink so have been looking everywhere for a cooler that would have clearance and would be too tall since itll be getting used in a silverstone sb13b case. but now I can go on and order the NH-La cooler.
Ahh ok thank you for the info I tried looking around on the interwebs but could find much on the compatibility. Ill cross my fingers and hope it works since I don't have another fm2 chip on hand :( if not it back to looking for a chip that works.
late to the comments but ill be doing a build with the same motherboard and cpu if i run into the same trouble with bios update witch one should I be downloading?
I have the thermaltake riings as well I peeled the stickers off with ease might leave a little residue but should be able to use some other tape to take it off.
It surely is one of my favorites to work with and so easy for cable management. Killer build too.
You'r right I had the corsair air540 case it sits behind the motherboard in back of the case.
Thank you. I'm still really enjoying the case it has been super easy for cleaning so far. And for temperatures its still done really well with both gpu's running playing forza horizon on max settings.
Thank you! I was so glad to have found this case its by far my favorite one I have owned. The cable management was I bit time consuming but with the smaller space than I'm used too I kinda knew it would take some more time to make its look neat. Yeah seeing the graphics card this way is worlds better!
I know right!? For swapping out parts its a breeze only wish we would see more of these cases around.
You'r correct im a Matthew, the user name is one I have had since xboxlive i've alway gotten that mcdonalds question asked but nope don't go there much. And thank you I'm really happy how it turend out.
Thank you. I was shooting for something more simple and a bit smaller and I'm happy the way it turned out since theirs not many build on the internet using this case.
Ahhh man that suck's I was worried myself that I wasn't going to be available in the states but got lucky and found it on newegg business. And thank you I enjoyed putting it together.
thank you. I was my first time squeezing this amount of parts in this size of a case granted it's still supports a full atx motherboard the underside buy power supply took the most patients for wire management.
It's from IKEA I cant remember the name off the top of my head.
Delightfully tacky yet easy to change out parts.
Any update pictures of the inside of computer I have this case in mind would like to see How the R1 looks in there?
That Gpu Placement in the Phanteks Enthoo too awesome! +1
From one Phanteks Evolv owner to another Thats one good looking Rig. Glad to see it featured.
That's one nice battle station you got there! like the use of the Phanteks evolve I have the same case and is by far my favorite. OH you'r 1080 is a nice addition as well :)
Yes you should have no problem with a 240 rad up front. I have the 3 riings fans set a exhaust at the top and top has no dust filter but the top has the solid coverplate with side vents on the edges.
Thank you. Yeah with the cage gone there's not that much room you might be able to fit a 3.5 hd and mount it with Velcro I put my ssd down at the bottom and it held down with 2 little screws. Still disappointing but i like the look of it much more and works out ok for me. The temps I cant remember but id say it runs cooler mounted at the front.
Im sure you would have a problem running you'r sli configuration the cover plate only removed to house the 280mm radiator up front that was is all. Worst part is only having 3 ssds since the cover plate removes the hdd's bay slots aswell. But im satisfied running all my stuff of ssd's and don't miss the bay.
Having it in push pull at the top of the case works it's only draw back is it is so thick that the lower face all most sit over the cpu heatsink pump it just didn't look that appealing to me so had it sit to just push when it was on the top. Now it set at the front and I like the look and performance better.
NIce to see this build featured good work and nice parts list.
Was hoping this build would be the next feature. Clean build nice work.
Awesome build, I'm liking the colors as well as someone's who's using the same case it's by far my favorite.
