not true at all, it depends on the quality your gaming in as well... if you crank up grand theft auto five to max settings on just 1920x1080, you will need more than 3.5GB.. 4k requires over 6GB..many new games require a lot more than 2GB of video ram now to be played in max settings, even in just 1920x1080 resolution. You may want to stop DroidMX, you're just digging yourself a deeper hole now... this build is actually pretty good.

Yea it isn't too bad tbh, could find it on sale probably a bit cheaper, but still decent price for no sale.

The price shown here might not be the price he paid for it... and that is the 6gb, the 3gb 1060 is about $70 cheaper...

What do you mean you haven't purchased your gpu yet? It shows you have a 1070 in the part list... And without it, how would you run anything on max settings? And the cable management is very poor... You have great potential with this build, just need to spend some more time with the TLC part of it.

They're great for the price. I'd definitely go for the Samsung if you're willing to spend a little more money though.

It would definitely take a lot of heat to melt the tape and if a build is producing that much heat, i think the melting tape would be the least of your problems.

I have before. I usually keep it around 4.6GHz. But it ran fine at 5.0GHz although it puts out quite a bit more heat. Wouldn't recommend keeping it that OC'd especially without some sort of liquid cooling.
