I would do that build but with a Ryzen 5 1500x and a B350 board. Then add a 120 gb ssd for os and some applications.
Always glad to help out.
Hold on, let me get it under your budget.
If you go with the Ryzen 5 1600, you would have to get a new motherboard with an AM4 socket type as well.
At that price point, you are better off going with a 1060 6gb instead of the lower 1050 ti.

This game gives an advantage to the ryzen 5 1600 but some other games will be the opposite.
Do you have a parts list?
This has mostly everything if not everything you'll need!
I'm not 100% on this but I think the ryzen 5 1600 would be a better buy because of the 6 cores and 12 threads that would help with streaming.
What's you budget and the rest of your build?
Ryzen 3 1300x is supposed to be around $130 i think. It is a good buy and comes out on July 27th. Not long at all.
Just get the Intel G4560. It's the best budget cpu especially if you find it on sale for below $70.
What he said^^
I would wait until the Ryzen 3 series releases and then get the top cpu from that line which is the Ryzen 3 1300x. It can be overclocked to be equal or better than 1400 in ghz
That's what I'm gonna do with my build!
I might now because I really don't want to have to do that.
Do I need the aftermarket cooler on it then?
Would I do better getting the 1060 3gb?
Can you overclock the G4560?
Oh yeah because of the mining. You might have to fix all of the other builds that you saved too!
Errr, my budget is $600 :)
So the gtx 970 is running on an older architecture and won't be as smooth and fluent with the new titles and the newest generation with the new Pascal architecture.
Here's my "final" build.
I agree, don't upgrade now because the prices are so jacked up. Wait for the gpu economy to come back to normal and then you might come back to this question of upgrading.
Would you recommend me investing money into a good wifi adapter or a powerline ethnet adapter?
Why the 1400?
It was the case, idk why the cases where different but I kind of like the look of that masterbox 3.1
I cant find it on the amd build. Is there something that doesnt fit?

Get a card that you like the look of and maybe do some researching on the cards on youtube. Youtube helped me pick my 1050 ti that I'm getting.
If you can afford the gpu with the best core and boost clock then go for it but in the end it is still the same architecture and general design.
I would recommend a 1060 6gb mainly becuase it is a very good card for your budget and the AMD gpu's are still overpriced.
The cheapest Ryzen CPU is the Ryzen 3 line and the cheapest processor from that line is around $110 from reading about it online. Who knows though until they release it.
You would have to change your motherboard to an AM4 socket type.
That's out of his budget. If he did get an SSD it would be like this.
Here's a build, I editted it a little bit from your original build but it will give you identical performance and you stay under $500!
