They didnt have the case I bought listed on Newegg at the time of making this post...
The EVGA X99 board was the best priced board that supports that chipset, so I wet for that. This computer will be for light gaming but was built more to last a long time without need to upgrade. It is 64bit Windows, it comes with both. I ave always loved Corsair PSU's never had a problem in the around 15-20 builds I've had them in. Thanks for your feedback!
A bunch of stuff, Mostly just networking for the home and then a high end blue ray, Home Theater receiver and a whole home universal remote.
I dont know what you're talking about? A couple of them are a little overpriced and the motherboard could be better, but other than that the part choiced are pretty reasonable. The H100i and 8350 are an amazing combo and the GTX 760 is second to none in price-performance.
I just decided to cave and buy a 980 LOL
Its all good, I might just buy one outright just to benchmark it
NO its a one time only thing, Im just worried about the difference in performance
Well to get the 970 for $30 Im trading in one 760. I cant trade in both (which sucks) so thats why Im stuck
Love it, no complaints what so ever.
HAHA IKR! I got it open box on newegg for $56 and HOLY CRAP I LOVE IT!
Its just a smaller brand. It's not too terrible we sell them at the Best Buy where I work and I haven't had any complaints
Awesome build! Loved the description! Keep up the good work! +1
They have 2 different options now.
Neither one of the cards in the parts list matches any of the cards in the photo? Is there a reason for this? Also, is the top ASUS card even a 760?
WOAH! How did you get the ROG front panel??? I didnt know it was out yet.
Sweet, thanks for replying so fast.
True, but still, you would need to be doing some intense editing to utilize all 32gbs.
Awesome build, A little overkill on the RAM,I would've gone with 16gb's and used the money to put towards another 290x for crossfire. 3 screens on one 290x is a lot. +1
That is false, 4tb HDD no matter the speed are all pretty much the same. A seagate barracuda 4tb is 149.99 on newegg.
Why a 5900rpm HDD? A good quality drive should hardly make any noise no matter the RPM?
First thing first... CABLE MANAGE THAT BEAST. Other than that, good build and parts.
Should, it all depends on your CPU everyone is different
You're missing the point, they are for budget builds. Compared to a 750ti 770's are not cheap. they are $200 more. Please post your build, others would like to see it.
You're very welcome, I actually quite like the build. Hope you have tons of fun!
True... that's what I will probably end up doing.
It all depends on what you play, if all you play is League of Legends and maybe a little WoW here and there. There is now real reason in needing a 770 or R9 280x. Why spend all that money when you won't ever utilize all its potential. Graphics cards are broken down into 3 basic levels:
1: Entry level - This is for the casual youtube/movie watcher and/or the light gamer (i.e. LoL, Wow, etc.)
2: Mainstream - This level is usually geared toward gaming with maybe some lighter 3D rendering applications. This level is meant to provide your best "Bang-for-your-buck". This is where you have your 770 and R9 280x.
3: Enthusiast - This is where you have hardcore gaming (i.e. above 1080p or extreme settings) You also have heavy 3D rendering programs that utilize the cards at their most potential. This is where the GTX TITAN and R9 295x2 lie. This is the best of the best.
And that is why buying a 770 or a R9 280x isn't always worth it.
Hope this helped, build on my friend... build on.
As someone who is on this site 24 hours a day, I hate seeing people who bring this kind of negativity. If you don't think its a good build you are free to explain your reasoning and you would probably learn something or teach something to someone else. Insulting someones build is just wrong, people actually care about things they've built, believe it or not. How would you feel if you built a machine and someone called it horrible? He mostly likely spent a lot of time and money making this to where HE likes it. If you don't like it just rate it and move on if you aren't going to say anything constructive. Thank you.
Alright, sounds good to me.
Why a 1000w PSU?
HAHA I couldn't have said it better!
+1 Love it!
Yea but I dont want to just show these with my build I want to show them off.
Let's just say this... Very expensive hobby LOL. I do A lot of builds as a side job and just post them on here. So I really only bought like half of my builds LOL
Not sure, I didn't actually check. I'm just gonna go out on a limb and say... yea it does. LOL
I know right? GPU's are the wave of the future! No need for anything else, mobo's, CPU's, etc. All overrated.
Nice! I would've got 2 of the reference coolers except Best Buy didn't have a blower style in stock. I bought the ACX one the day Titanfall came out so I could play on insane... Total noob mistake, Titanfall still doesn't have SLI support :/
Did you read the description? If you would like, I would be honored if you would check out my full build in my profile, thanks :)
That PSU... I would be a little concerned for that price. Shouldnt have gone with an SSD on such a small budget.
Sorry I shouldve added that I need windows as well, great build tho!
Nice, simple, clean, powerful! What more could you ask for! +1
MOOOOOORRRRREEEEEE PIIICCCTTTUUURRRREEESSSS!!!!! This build is off the wall! Love it! +++++++++1
The Microsoft media creator doesn't work with OEM software, fortunately, I was able to find a download. Thanks a bunch tho :)
LOVE THE BUILD! Whats with the 500gb 5400rpm drive???
Yea I'm sorry about saying so little in the description. It's going to be a gaming build. SLI and a better PSU will come later, probably around the release of NVIDIA's 8-Series GPU's.
