About jipster69

  • Just kidding!

Hey... while you are here... check out my builds:
Don't forget the +1 if you like em ;-)

  • Project Boreas

  • The once Featured FX-6300 budget build that looks like a $1,000,000!

  • Built in a Corsair 500R with a custom window and other mods

OK... so as of a few days ago (beginning of December 2015) I'm back. I'm gonna try to do PCPP in moderation and see how it goes. I will not be my former omnipresent self, but I will be around... Unless I fail at the "in moderation" part. Then I might need to step away again.

Feels good to be back. I really missed the smell of the Completed Build section... the aroma is a combination of dreams come true, blood, sweat, tears, fried thermal paste, and blown Hercules PSUs.

Always looking for long lost TEK Team members from the old MSN Gaming Zone. I was TEK_Jip we played Midtown Madness and then Midtown Madness 2. Also were playing Rogue Spear I believe.

Where are you TEK_Xacto?

About Me:

Why do I comment on every build{s}?

  • Believe it or not, I am NOT just comment spamming. I actually take the time to completely read most every description (hey some get long and I might skip part reviews). I look at all the build pictures as well and I will offer advice/help if I think it's needed.

  • Even if all I do is crack a joke (sometimes poking fun at a bad post or the poster) I usually (99.9% of the time) leave having given the build an up-vote. First builds ALWAYS get my vote because everyone needs the praise for that... no matter how terrible it may have been. Even just being a goofball on your build page still lets ya know I was at least there, and I noticed your hard work right?

Don't like what I do?

  • If you are here because you don't like my face and/or you are sick of my constant presence... I sincerely apologize... but you should probably learn to deal with it in a healthy manner. Improper or malicious use of this website has been known to end with banned accounts and IP addresses. In other words... grow up.

  • If I made a bad joke, or you thought something I said was inappropriate or you just want my comment removed... tell me, or send me a PM if you want to remain anonymous. I have no problem with that. I'm genuinely a nice guy and don't mean to offend or upset anyone on this website... EVER.

Like what I do?

  • Great!

Hey jip, I am about to upload pics of my first build. I built it back in November 2014 but never got around to actually uploading it. Any tips or advice on uploading a build? I want it to look good for this site.

Also, you have been a blessing to this website, the community was kind of bland until you showed up earlier this year! :) I have enjoyed reading your witty and humorous comments, and I am a big fan of that GTX 660 build of yours. The color scheme is odd but there's something so appealing about it.

Your leaving this community has offended me....

I can't possibly go on with no hope of you ever returning to thy beloved jip....ster.... =_(

We love you even though we never really knew you. You are our muse. We hope you appreciate this message as much as everyone appreciated your many messages to many pcpartpickers from all over the globe.

Now... The Sad News

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce my retirement from the PCPP community, at least for the foreseeable future. I thoroughly enjoyed the time that I shared here with all of you. I would love to continue to... ahh... leave my mark... on every build that shows up here... but my run is unfortunately over.

Some of you I'm sure are more than happy to see me ugly mug fade away into PCPP history, others (from the many nice PMs I've received... [thank you BTW]) just may actually miss my presence. I apologize if your future Completed Build post will be absent an eagerly anticipated jipster comment :-(

I will leave my email below for those that might be interested in getting my attention for some reason other than help with building a PC. I WILL NOT BE ANSWERING BUILD RELATED QUESTIONS! Also, don't make it weird or I will be forced to delete my email address (which I would rather leave up, thanks).

This is my farewell to you PCPP people... seriously... I'm not gonna Godzlegend1 this thing. To my friends and favorite people on here (you know who you are) I will miss you all... as much as some random Internet dude that built a computer and trolled this website possibly could ;-)

I hope someone will follow in my footsteps and continue to make this community a funner and more enjoyable place than it already is (a hand full of you already did and continue to do just that)....

“Such is life, imaginary or otherwise: a continuous parting of ways, a constant flux of approximation and distanciation, lines of fate intersecting at a point which is no-time, a theoretical crossroads fictitiously 'present,' an unstable ice floe forever drifting between was and will be.”

  • Thank you! I am honored and humbled. I also approve the use of an Intel CPU ;-)

jipster69's Original Profile below...

My beard has its own profile... jipstersbeard and built a computer!

  • Seriously though, I didn't make the profile and it's currently still active!

I have successfully named/renamed 4 builds on PCPP that are not my own!

* waiting for jipster69s comment * Anyways this is a beautiful build! :)

More about me:

I found this site in Feb 2015 and it was instrumental in helping me complete my first build. Decided to revamp that build almost immediately after being inspired by what I saw here. Now I'm addicted and can't wait to find an excuse to build another. I currently cruise the sight checking out all the unique builds that pop up here and throw around up-votes where they a deserved. Its amazing to see how many first time builds post here daily.

If you think I can help you in anyway with your build, don't hesitate to ask. I will assist with part selection (I have limited hands on experience with most parts but I am somewhat knowledgeable), to answering overclocking questions. Just ask.

Feel free to ask questions about my build as well... Project Boreas, especially if you are planning something similar or using any of the same parts.

Enjoy this fantastic website!

Seriously don't do it... you did it didn't you?
