Wow this is amazing! Congratulations on your build! Makes me miss the good old days of WoW! I love it and wish I could have something like this!Very well done!
I love it man. Very nice build. Congrats!
This is a super sexy and super clean build. Very nice work mate.
Did the H5 Ultimate come with an AM4 bracket in the box or did you have to get one from Cryorig?
Idle I'm around 28C liquid temps / 35C CPU core temps. On load I'm around 37C liquid temps / 60C core temps. My room gets about 85F though because of it being upstairs. I also think that my case isn't the best for airflow... I'm prolly going to try and sell it and get a Fractal R6. Thoughts?
Hello, I was wondering what your CPU temps on idle and load are and what temp software you are reading it from? I just got the H115i PRO and my temps seem warmer than normal but it could just be my case doesn't have the best ventilation and also my office being on the second floor of the house.
I can't remember now and I'll have to check when my brother comes in for Thanksgiving. I think I might have just used the clam on the side that you swing open.
Included fans for the X62 or the Case? I never used the included X62 fans but I use the stock front fans for the case and they are really good at pushing air.
They are all good. It comes down to preference honestly. The only time I would stay away from a gpu is if there are overwhelming reports of issues. Example is the ACX issues with evga. Lots of issues but I'm curious to see how the icx version works now. :)
I think they do both but don't quote me!
Yep, https://mod-one.com/ these guys are awesome! The cables are nice and sturdy so you can bend them and they stay in place. Their clips are also some of the best!
This is just a temp setup area as I'm buying a house here shortly then I'll have all 3 monitors back up an the PC on the right for display :P
Playing Warships, neither goes above 115F. Playing BF1 last night and I noticed my temps for the CPU were 130F and the GPU was 145F so really good :D
The case is really nice and as I mentioned above, I wasn't really into the tempered glass version. As for the pics, when I was researching my build, I noticed people didn't take photos of what I wanted to see to decide on a part so I made it a must to take lots of pictures of parts and things people normally wouldn't. :D
Stress testing the CPU I sit about 60C and stress testing the GPU I sit around 65C. In my opinion, that's really good!
ASUS had one of the best temp readings of all the cards plus they just look sharp to me! The thing is SILENT! The cool RGBs are a nice touch but it just fit the build since I went with the ASUS Hero IX with the RGBs and the RAM. They all work together with ASUS AURA so that was a plus as well. I love Gigabyte but this was built back in January and they didn't have the Aurorus stuff out yet but I hear that is also nice!
I actually built this around Christmas time so the Ryzen CPUs weren't out yet and my old rig was on its last leg. I wasn't waiting any longer lol but thank you! I just finally got around to posting the build and photos!
Didn't like the tempered glass version. This looked way cleaner to me.
Currently yes but at some point I'm going up to 4k, just not now.
MOD-ONE does a great job and I highly recommend them!
Yes, why get the 6600k when you are pairing it with a B150 chipset? I could be wrong but you can't overclock the 6600k on a B chipset. Your choices here are to drop down (if don't don't plan to OC anyways) to a 6600 or the 6500 and keep the B150 chipset OR keep the 6600k and look for a similar priced and featured motherboard with a Z170 chipset. :D
I'm almost positive that the 650w will be enough. You might want to add some more fans but that's up to you. Right now his 6600k runs pretty quiet just because of all the vented panels on the case and the airflow from the front 200m and also sitting right next to the rear exhaust. The GPU sitting upright helps a lot too because it just goes up and out the top. Let me know if you need more help.
Where did you get the cables from? Been looking for a good place for my EVGA PSU.
Super clean and pretty man!
Yea, I'm waiting to see the AMD breakthroughs with GPUs. He most likely won't get it until his birfday in the fall so by then we will know what's better, new AMD chips or the GTX 1070.
Yea, we found the setting and honestly for me, it's cool but my brother doesn't really care how his PC looks, just that it plays games without issues. I only say meh because if people don't really care about the on board LEDs then it's just an extra. Again, I think they are pretty cool :P
I have 2 brothers and they bleed me dry with new tech stuff! I couldn't handle 3 and neither could my wallet!
Thank you. I'm the very techy brother and we all play video games so they know my weakness is just to start mentioning outdated stuff and I'm already surfing the net to buy them the new without even thinking about my financial situation... jerks. :P
LOL What server? Illidan-US Horde!
Upvoted for Left Shark!
I would have done the MSI TF 970 or the ASUS 970. I have had many of each brand's products (GPUs, Motherboards) and have had 0 issues with them or their RMA department. I was saddened by the EVGA coil whine and the fact that their RMA department told me that's just how high end cards work. My buddy has the MSI 970 TF and his had 0 coil whine. My brother was just here for Xmas break and his card is still making the same noise in games after 6 months of heavy use. Burning in does not solve coil whine. It was the first thing I noticed coming into the basement... "What's that humming noise? Oh, dammit... its his 970." :(
Wow this is excellent! Love the color theme and that you went Blue for everything! Awesome!
I have fun building rigs. If they pass the word to others, I'll build it for them too!
Yea lol a nice orange label would have been awesome!
I was happy to hit his price point with the serious power it's packing! I couldn't do without a K processor or Z97 but he doesn't do the things I do :P
It's an excellent case! I liked it a lot!
His college had it for $69.99 which I told him to snag!
I'm actually really impressed with how it turned out!
I bought the NZXT fan hub. I forget what the name exactly was but I bought it on Amazon for about $15 and it could handle I think it was 9 fans or so.
It fit all the way pushed up front! Was a perfect fit!
This was a build for my friend, and he did not want to use a CLC. He wanted cheap CPU cooler for basic OCing. I personally would have done the Kraken X61, but it wasn't my money or my build. :)
Thank you! It looks really good with the red LED!
The glue worked lol so he's fine with it.
The GTX 970 is 100% worth the $350! I am in love with the MSI one. It is incredible! The actual price was $350 at Microcenter but I gave him $100 for his wedding gift which he put toward the GPU purchase. This just gave him his total under $1000 like he wanted. I'm just a good friend lol.
All those games I install and never play lol!
