And more pictures please
I love it. Been looking at that case myself.
upgraded to i5
nice, i love the mATX is coming back in style. How was that case to work with ?
i did set in afterburner, but did not think about front fans, i will make the change and see if that reduces. Good Tip
i have no complaints
I thought the white PSU was overkill. but you can actually see it thru the basement cover. nice build, lucky little girl.
its in the title, He built a FreeNas Server, and a Beauty at that!!
Well deserved featured build. Nicely done. What m.2 speeds do you see ?
Is the m.2 drive used for zil or is it just the OS ? Nice job on the build.
Purple is sick. Nice
Yea it's all messed up. Whatever that cooler was it was poo. I got an x61. And solved the problem
i love it. Great build. i5, great, m.2, worth every penny, EVGA power amazing, Define R5 classy and a 1070. Such a great build. Clean.
im not sure what you do with your rips
Nicely done... go ahead and OC that skylake , with that aio, you will be fine. Truly a solid build.
more pics to come
Might be the most impressive i have seen to date. Nicely done
I dont recommend that one.
That little 212 its pretty much to bomb diggity, and why they sell so many. I swapped out the fan, easy breezy, works well
it sucks. i messed with it a great deal. with only 3 heat pipes does not transfer much heat. At least that is my take. the fins never got warm, but the CPU would max at 80 degrees which as you know is nothing for an 8350 but hotter than i would like. Also i tried resetting the cooler with different paste a few times, I do love the little clip that holds the fan on the fins, that was a good design. I have already replaced that cooler with the old standard, evo 212 , and temps then maxed at 67, which is much much better.
I would NOT recommend this cooler to a friend, but perhaps the Raijintek with 4 heat pipes works better.
I love it, it is an excellent machine, that i am sure is very fast and you did great with the white parts.
I found it on the NZXT web site under the refurb. looks better than the pictures. happy hunting. I have also seen a few people take it apart and paint it, if that's an option for you.
That is really cool. Your build looks great thanks
How did you rbg lights on the x61 radiator and those fans to change colors ? It looks great. Well done
I think I may build one in my house, thanks for the inspiration
Nice corsair build. But that workbench you have is amazing.
Nice build. I enjoyed reading. I have a feeling this won't be your last build.
340 350 whatever it takes
I think we both need a better method :) But yours is better than mine...
How did you wire up the HDD in the back, I am having trouble getting the panel on with it hitting the SATA power cable.
Cable Management picture ?
I like your thinking...
As a fellow who also tries to get the most for less. I applaud your work here.
I have seen fancy cable management here before. But nothing like this in such a small space. Great planning and build. I'm very impressed. Thanks for taking a minute to write the story, I love reading these.
As one of the other old guys here who used to have a cassette tape for programs, and now has a7600. If you run that 8 pin around behind mobo, unscrew fan and slide plug through, the re attach fan. would be good cable mgmt trick.
Love the build. Old guys rule!
or we will continue to see only black and red motherboards... Orange or Purple or heck even pink. You would think Gigabyte or ASrock or someone would have some cool coolers. There are a few, but they are few and far between
Very Cool look
Impressive cable management. Nice build
makes sense, from the front does the Kraken draw air in ? And if on top the Kraken draws air out ?
well done, not being critical, but trying to learn myself, does it matter if the Kraken is in the front of the top ?
I can not play games on this. I haven't tried adding a GPU but I guess you could. There are other gaming build guides. Go with those
I have 6 x 2 tb drives. Gives me 5.8 tb usable. The raid 10. Makes a 3 pair stripe and able to get great performance. Currently bound by the 1Gb wire. If you go raid 5 or raid 6. There is a write penalty associated w the parity bit. So I chose to avoid that. There are plenty of great RAID docs available. Google away
Really was cheap eBay build
lets hope for that
I get ur point. Hope I don't fry it all
Amd just costs less and 65 watts gives great performance
Evga has not failed me either here or in the enterprise.
