Appreciate it! I picked it up from V1 Tech - https://www.v1tech.com/product-category/backplates/

Nope! One reason I chose this mobo was compatibility out-of-box with 2nd gen Ryzen

The thermaltake fan set came with a fan/rgb controller so all the case fans plug in there and just one cable runs to the mobo

Digging the color scheme! Good call on the GPU & cooler upgrades as well. Have any pics of its final form? :)

Lol he's no dummy. When Mom asks you to trick out her facebook machine with RGB, you don't think twice

Thanks! Tbh I didn't like the look of the MB lite 5, for a case upgrade I probably would go for just the MB 5 or something like this

Ooohh interesting! Definitely going to look into that. My parents can't hear the high pitched whine lol but it bugs me

Agreed, can't let that happen so a bigger desk is priority #1 right now, totally not just because I want to show it off! Haha

:O that's so cool! Also thought it was a little mirror at first glance. Sweet setup, cable management is clean! Hope those 2x 1080's have enough juice to run FB :)

LOL I thought this would get called out. Waiting to get a larger desk when I move, this one is super cramped with the PC on top :(

Yeah the ML140's I used for the cooler radiator are mounted on the front, although the lights aren't really visible unless the front panel is off lol. I have their 4-pin fan cables connected to the daisy chain of 4 connectors coming from the x62, and their RGB cables go to a Corsair RGB 6-fan hub. The fan hub came with my Lighting Node Pro, your case probably has both of these already.

The colors are awesome :) You could use the LL140 fans for the cooler instead, but the ML are supposed to push more air and stay quieter.

I replaced the NZXT Aer fans on the x62 with Corsair ML140 RGB's, and used the LL140 and LL120 RGB's as case fans. So far they've been quiet and working great
