If you live within driving distance of a MicroCenter:

15.6" - http://www.microcenter.com/product/486481/1510_156_Gaming_Laptop_Computer_-_Black

17.3" - http://www.microcenter.com/product/486482/1710_173_Gaming_Laptop_Computer_-_Black

I have the 15.6" and it's a crazy good laptop for that price point and really can't be beat.

If you live within driving distance of a MicroCenter, I wholeheartedly suggest you make the trip for either of these and save yourself $700-$800:

15.6" : http://www.microcenter.com/product/486481/1510_156_Gaming_Laptop_Computer_-_Black

17.3" : http://www.microcenter.com/product/486482/1710_173_Gaming_Laptop_Computer_-_Black

I have the 1510 and it's amazing.

It really is.

I have a MicroCenter 10 minutes from my house and I'll literally just go there and wander around, it's freakin heaven.

I have to leave my wallet in the car though, it's safer that way.

Gonna kinda hijack his thread to get your thoughts on this one:

It's not 120 hz but considerably cheaper. They seem to be almost identical otherwise though.

One thing I did find out in showing her that one is that she wants one with a keypad built in which that one doesn't have. I'm guessing that means we are going to be forced to go 15.6" or bigger..

I've seen this a few times now and I'm not all that familiar.. I'm looking for a budget PC that could do 1080p for WoW, D3, CS:GO for my nephew. What exactly should I be looking for on eBay/Craigslist? Thanks!

That rear cable management is crazy good. I really really like the all black look, I didn't think it even needed the blue accent RGB but that actually adds a nice touch. Very nicely done.

Really nice build, that case is gorgeous. My OCD goes crazy with the AMD logo on the cooler being unable to be located on the top.

Hi, yeah I should have put those details in, sorry about that!! I am going to be gaming on it and I'm looking for something that'll last me at least a few years before really needing to upgrade. I could build it myself for sure, just wasn't sure if this was a good deal and I couldn't do it better myself for cheaper. Every time I pieced together parts similar, I'm in the 1800-2000 range. Ideally I'd like to stick around 1500-1600 with a 1080 if possible.
