Sorry for completely missing the problem. I'm sure you've already checked with NZXT that you have the updated revision of the M22 (https://support.nzxt.com/hc/en-us/articles/115003420908-How-can-I-get-an-AM4-bracket-for-my-Kraken-).
Otherwise, the only other thing I can think of is improper installation (https://imgur.com/ycSZ6XN).
I'm using the Corsair H55 with the G12 bracket. GL on the build! I had some fun with it.
Thanks for the feedback! The X52 and X62 will fit but is too large to mount normally in this case. You may need to use a vertical GPU adapter but you still may run into clearance issues.
Thanks for the feedback! I find SFF builds fun. I've just added a screenshot of my Time Spy benchmark. Currently running into heat issues which is expected especially in this case.
One AIO goes to the CPU while the other goes to the GPU. The AIO for the CPU connects like the usual however, for the GPU, you will have to take off the stock fans from your GPU. The Kraken G12 allows you to mount an AIO to a GPU assuming you have one that is compatible with it.
Yeah, NZXT's AIO's are beefy and will definitely not fit for our case. I decided to get the Corsair because I was not worried about light... I didn't even think about clearance issues at the bottom of the case lol. I could definitely see people getting other AIO's for their shorter height for small builds like ours. Even though the G12 will work with the X62 (double checked compatibility), the X62 will be too big for our builds unless you're willing to use a vertical extension slot with your GPU. Even with that, it might not work.
I tried my best lol. Most of the build was managing those cables one by one. Totally worth the time and effort. I'm still having to force the side panel shut but not with much force. Thanks for your feedback!
For better cooling. The 1080 had a stock GPU, so mounting an AIO to it will certainly bring down temps under load.
Thanks! Sorry for the late reply... I haven't had any issues with the 390 since it was first released due to the weird driver software issue. I've played FarCry 4, BF4, MGS:V and a few other high-end games on High/Ultra settings with no issues as long as you have anti-aliasing low or off. Other games like CSGO, LoL, etc. will run smoothly on high FPS. I did OC slightly but did not notice any difference in performance but I honestly haven't had the time to test and benchmark a good setting for it so I ended up putting it back to factory settings.
Hope this helps!
I haven't tried removing it yet. I'm sure it's not too difficult because I can only see 4 screws attached. May want to check other posts for it.
I believe it has 8 fan connectors on the case and a 4-pin MOLEX power connector. I use a total of 6 fans in my case. I'll double check once I get back from work.
Dude, this looks so awesome! That fan controller matches well with the look of the case. Awesome build!
Let me know when you get it finished! I haven't ran into any problems with mine yet and I'm sure yours will work out great.
I got the same speakers! Awesome build!
First off, awesome build! I'm sure she will love it! That case looks amazing but from what you mentioned, came with some disappointments. Has there been any instances where the 970 struggles with high resolution gaming due to its 3.5GB (from what most people say it has)?
This build definitely influences me into making one for my girlfriend of 4 years although she isn't a gamer.
Haha, yeah. My OCD is picking up just by looking at it like that. Will do soon once I have some free time.
Sure it may not seem as a budget build but it is. Before, my budget was $750 and now roughly $900 thanks to working over my Christmas break. I just wanted to add some things to benefit the build. I'd like to break the bank in the future but I just don't have the money ATM.
Thanks! I previously had a Windows 7 HP disc from an old PC I bought years back that I kept.
Nice clean build. Your'e gonna love that SSD!
TY. I'm planning on doing liquid cooling later on since the 8350 does get a bit hot.
At the time yeah
If you have the money, go for it!
Nice build! +1
Nice build bro! I always wondered if those Noctua fans are really worth it for their price. Enjoy your monster machine!
Definitely will go for it in the future by adding another 8GBs.
So far so good. I have my OS installed on it and it's amazing. I've seen mixed reviews for this drive too but the price influenced my decision.
Thanks! Haha it was an old GPU from a previous computer that I bought pre-built.
