This is crazy! i too have a powermac G5 case mod with almost identical specs! i have 3200mhz Corsair LPX and a 256Gb SSD, and the 1600x instead with a different motherboard. im not currently using my G5 but i plan to reuse it soon!

alright, just to let you know that what ever card is in the higher PCIE slot reeves more bandwidth than the ones below the top one, so as of right now your wireless card is getting a better connection with your CPU than your actual graphics card is...

why dont you swap the positions of the GPU and the wireless card?

This is jaw dropping. Everything about it. I was skeptical about the grey liquid but it turned out to look quite nice with the LEDs. even the cable management was amazing with the the tubes running behind the motherboard! Love this thing! +∞

I would recommend getting a better PSU. the Corsair CX series line up has had some serious flaws

http://pcpartpicker.com/product/8RvZxr/evga-bq-650w-80-bronze-certified-semi-modular-atx-power-supply-110-bq-0650-v1

Dont cheap out on your PSU. You can either get one that will NEVER fail, or one that could end up Popping up on you and ruining ALL of your hardware!

i would imagine that i gets very hot though. if i were you i would have placed the PSU towards the front of the PC. to allow ample room for upgrades.

Yeah for sure, ill keep you up when i get this done. im using an old ATX motherboard with a 120 Fan. ive ran into a few slight issues, but all i can get around easily without doing too much. i also have a lot of carbon fiber wrap planned to use with it. i would recommend it. with my front panel IO i want to reuse the original power button and LED, but add new USB 3.0 to the front. my little stand still right now is the fact im out of epoxy. i plan to epoxy the backside of my motherboard tray to the old G5 back. then use some bolts and washers to hold my tray against the back panel. hidden under my board. i only have to repaint the chassis after i epoxy it though.

Wow, thats an Insane G5 mod possibly the best one of seen so far! Im actually working on one right now. did you plan an using new front panel IO? also did you hook up custom front panel adapters or did you mod it yourself?

Sorry to be the one who sticks out in the comments, but if you're doing any kind of OC'ing please buy a new power supply! Corsair brand CX Power Supplies have some bad failure rates, and when it does fail... Lets just say its not pretty. I would recommend something like this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/fractal-design-power-supply-fdpsuts2b650w or http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-power-supply-rs550amaab1us

Yeah, it would be better to use the normal 6 pin from your PSU rather than an adapter which could lead to more factors for which an error could occur
