Hi there, I currently have my bios on the second-most recent one.
The most recent bios for the k7 didnt let my PC boot. Hope this helps!
I understand now, I think. No issues whatsoever in that sense. I'm actually having issues with just one set at a time - I think that I had a bit of an "exception to the rule" experience with the two sets of ram sticks I have.
This is a fantastic effort. I'm sure that the customer will continue to be happy with this build :)
Not bad at all! This rig is very clean. Nice work :)
Thanks for the compliment.
The RAM actually wasn't even meant for Ryzen (it's intel RAM, apparently), but it seems to behave itself. I've actually got the timings at 15-17-17-17-32, which isn't bad at all, really. Faster than recommended specs.
I bought the first two sticks when I started out building PCs, last year. I had no idea what I was doing - and had some issues with my 350 motherboard,
But with the 370, it works like a charm.
The two sets of RAM just need to be the same make, speed etc. The two I have only differ by the colour.
Hi there, thanks for the kind words.
No, the RAM runs perfectly fine. I just needed to get voltage at 1.4 VRAM, put the settings at 15-17-17-17-32 (which is faster that the recommended 16-18-18-18-36) and yeah, that's it.
I actually plan to upgrade to 3600mhz RAM at a later date. Hopefully the price drops a bit over the Summer.
Thanks for the compliment!
I just liked the name midnight sleeper build :)
Thank you :)
Cheers. I'll have a look into an intel optane 900p at some point, should be fun :)
WHAT IS THIS MADNESS
PLEASE TELL ME MORE
Sorry for the late reply - I'm getting 63 degrees Celsuis at max with my 240 cooler and an overclocked 2700x to 4Ghz.
Cheers! I'll keep an eye out for some colour-themed cables for future upgrades.
Thanks dude. I legitimately had no idea what I was doing at the time. But now it's a bit nicer :)
You try doing cable management with a case without a backend like a p400, I mean have you ever built a build using a p400
As your first build
Did you get it right the first time?
No? Was it picture perfect?
Was the point of your first build literally to get cables looking pretty?
Yeah? Did you not build a pc to actually build a pc?
Fun fact. Since I did clean up cables, my average temp actually increased. Isn't that nice, so true that cable management lowers overall temps like that.
Literally the first inbox message that I receive and it comes from someone who is either trolling or is genuinely concerned that I don't give a **** about cable management.
Cause I don't.
I like my pc.
You can spend hours twiddling your cables into a pretty little pile in the back of your case
Please don't respond. If your goal was to trigger me, congratulations.
thanks! Next time I'll be a bit wiser and a bit tidier :)
I like the colour coordination and also the fact that your daughter(?) plays Minecraft. Nice work!
Heyo, you're right - it was a bit messy. I've tidied it up a bit and have put the led strip up top __^ . Thanks for constructive feedback - I'll check out your build now :)
I've tidied it up a bit in the second photo :3 thanks for the help! It was a bit messy.
