Probably more on the side of medium/heavy gaming and light office work (I design logos).

Most of the time I play basic steam games with very little PC requirements, but I'm looking forward to Star Citizen in the future.

Hmm, sounds good. What would be your GPU of choice in the $300-$350 range?

It's not super purpose built. I'm looking towards Star Citizen and a couple other games. (Yes, I know you can't future proof a PC) I'm also a logo designer, but that doesn't really take any processing power.

I think I'll go with the 6700 non k because I don't really care to overclock.

Also, I'm thinking about going with an r9 390. How well do those stand up to nvidia equivalents?

This PSU is the most similar to yours, but cheaper (ever so slightly) and with similar flat cables.

This one.

Again it's only slightly cheaper and it probably comes down to preference.

No, I would stick with what you've got. I think it's the best value.

I didn't know.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "New Build"

It looks solid man. Just a couple things.

I assume you know you can't overclock.

Also do you want a CPU cooler?

One more thing, that PSU is a tad overpriced. I'd suggest you go with this.

I'm sorry, my bad man. Those GPUs aren't that different. I thought you had an r9 380 in your build. In that case you're probably good to go unless you want to jump to a gtx 980.

Again, sorry for my lack of thorough research.

If you're selling it in Canada probably $1,000-$1,100 seems right. The GPU is good, but the storage and CPU cooler are maybe a bit underwhelming.
