I overclocked my dog by raising the core voltage to 1.956V. He won't boot up now and gives me a POST beep code when I push the power button. Help?

You might want to move your GPU up to the first slot, I've heard it can increase performance by a bit.

Also you might want to throw that GPU out the window, even a 750ti for $95 is better :D

Yeah, I looked it up and it actually does :D Still, even without OC'ing, the Pentium is a great processor for its price tag :D

With this I would throw in a Pentium G3258 and Asus H81M-A mobo, then OC the Pentium to 4.3 ghz (done this and it's stable), then pour the money you saved into an EVGA GTX 1060 SC gpu. More FPS for the $$$.

Have you tried OC'ing the Pentium? I've found a stable overclock to be adding 3 to the last digit in the core voltage. You should try it!

A good thing to do would to have gotten a Pentium G3258, then spent a bit more and gotten a cheap cooler like a CM Hyper 212 evo, then overclocked the Pentium. That is what I have done and it is actually really good for the $66 price tag.

Awesome build! Wish my dad would build a PC with me... I just scrounged together a budget $450 PC to build with my own money and stuff. But nice build and choice of parts! Awesome GTX 1080, should be able to run BF1 pretty well!

Awesome build! You sound like an epic dad for doing this for your son... nice work! Wish my dad did this for me... I just earned $500 to build an OK pc for myself. But nice build, great part choice, and thanks for including the Fire Strike score! I wish more PC builds on here did that.

Awesome build, and a better cooler such as the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo could get you better speeds and allow you to overclock to get even faster speeds. Great build though!
