No man. They stay the same
i had a bottleneck issue with i5-6600k to 1080ti and ended up with 6700k. Hope this one works for you.
Nice build. do you think 1080 ti will work fine with 7600k/6600k?
Any thoughts on why you get pg278qr instead of 9q?
Well just to make sure, most future games that will be released. I will play it on a pg279q
Thanks bro. this helped me a lot!
may i know where did u base it?
ok thanks man. Ill try to consider that together with the beer
Given that, does it mean that I can just stick with my current setup and don't bother to try push/pull?
Thanks man. If your system will run smoothly within 5 month, keep me updated and I will buy another cheap 980ti.
great build. I also have a 6600k and 980ti. First I was planning to have it SLI until I read a lot of threads that i5 is not advisable for an SLI. Can you enlighten me?
just curious. are your running on 4k?
Thanks man. I've already got new system just 3 months ago. It's just a matter of GPU upgrade since its from my last build. But Im pretty sure titan x will be overkill to me.
Im using gaming pro carbon RGB? Will that work?
I just googled it and its 2560x1080? does it mean it is not a 1440p monitor? even w/ its size
Error : SSD not found
Is it worth to get 1080 at this time? or do u think 1080 ti will be released at this year as well?
yes I mean is their performance the same? or is there a brand that offers some extra boost or like that
Then probably get a h100i v2 instead
Thanks man. Than explained it
I have the MSI 980 ti. the red black one
Oh i forgot, yes I have 3 intakes in front
hey man thanks. if my temps are normal. how about my coreclock being 1350 automatically when plying games? is taht normal? On the link that you gave: It says
GTX 980 TI Engine Specs:
1000Base Clock (MHz)
1075Boost Clock (MHz)
while mine having
1350 when playing
can u please explain that
My first HDD is the Seagate one. It just I ran out and saw that WD is much cheaper. Anyways I will just run WD as a storage for my videos and musics
Thanks man. Happy gaming!
I'll try to go with 4.5ghz as along as it will not go 1.25v higher. Btw here is my system
Oh I see. so I think 1.2-1.25 is not quite high and I will not go higher even if it wants to. I don't think 1ghz can have an impact vs destroying your parts. Btw my cooler is h110i and just 3 intakes fan at the front.
but adding a Voltage means adding heat right?
yes im aware of dat. im currently running on 4.2 at 1.2v. I just want to have some basis where to start. probably ill try 4.4 at 1.25
thanks man, if u have time to check, please let me know. I will try to compare to adjust my settings based on that
man may I know whats ur current voltage for a 4.5ghz?
hey man, im still little confused on this. what do u mean by stock voltage, are u referring to auto? because before I changed it, it was set to auto. if this will be set as an auto, does it ran higher that 1.2 sometimes rather than putting it manually?
And yes, we have almost the same lol.
I see, because if you don't set it as manually. should it be running as auto? and you don't know if its using 1.2v or higher until you monitor it
what do u mean by "have it clocked to 4.4GHz on stock voltage"? does it mean voltage is auto?
my board is msi pro carbon RGB. will that one suffice?
THanks man. So if I understand that correctly, I will use my 3 front as intake, 1 rear as exhaust. And as for my h110i gtx. Fan should I be doing like this - https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/b/yhhqqs . I assume the fan are intake as the radiator is on the top. I like to imitate his bui8ld but not completely sure how.
Thanks again man. YOu helped a lot
I see, so in my case, 3 front intake, h110i 2 fan (TOP) intake also and just 1 rear exhaust
Thanks for the recommendation . I THink ill stick with carbon. If possible can u aslo assist me with my other topic.
Thanks, I'm going on a Red black build and do a minimal OC on the CPU, so should I get the carbon?
hey man I have same card and proc. do u think I can oc my CPU& GPU with a seasonic 620watts?
Hey man. I'm buildng something like this. so u use the fan of h100i inside and add 2 addtional fans on the top? if so is that an intake or exhaust? I know that this case only comes up with a 2 free fans
