Mostly it's the RAM that's really expensive. like $48 for a 4GB DDR4-2133 stick. A relative was coming over from america for a while so I asked her to get it...

EDIT: there's also no major stores,at least not that I know of.There's only individual shops which import the stuff. You can expect prices on most stuff to be at least $20 higher on average compared to average prices in the US. For some things like monitors it's the exact same or even lower, not sure why.

I've done the cable management 3 times over... it is significantly better than what it was before, but i guess it won't hurt to do it one more time :P

Yeah but i'd have to get a better monitor somewhere along the way or i would be stuck with an awesome build but not so awesome 768p monitor. Many people here and on reddit said that a monitor is a long-term investment so i decided i wouldn't cheap out on it. Also neither the 1060 nor the 480/470 is available here, and even if they were i doubt any of them would be lower than $320. For reference the (gigabyte)1080 is $860 here and the 1070 is $540. :P ...third world problems i guess?

I really felt like I overpaid for everything, you know? Everything was a bit too expensive. So I decided to go low end while also trying to keep future upgrades possible. :)

I live in Pakistan and online shops here are highly unreliable. They'll label something as 'in stock' and when you order it they tell you it's not available...happened to me more than once.

That's what I thought about the video card. If you went and brought the k version of the i7 because you wanted to overclock, you should have gotten a Z170 motherboard because you can't overclock on the one you have.

he got a processor meant for overclocking with a motherboard that can't overclock, i don't think that's a very good decision. Also the video card feels outdated, op could have gotten an i5 6500(which is perfectly fine for gaming) along with a 970 or r9 380, keeping the motherboard the same. I'm assuming this was because he's migrating parts from an old rig?

The light gaming i talked about was only for now.i do wanna play higher end new games like witcher 3 when i get the new processor. And i do have a z170 mobo. Also i might do a tiny bit of video editing. I really like the case and i dont think ill need a 240mm cooler, thats why i was asking about 120mm coolers.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Best 120mm Liquid cooler?"

The case is the NZXT S340,hence the need for 120mm cooler because i don't like a radiator as intake. the current CPU is an i3 6100, but i'm going to upgrade to i5 6600k for which i'm asking this. I do some light gaming and internet browsing, but mostly I want one because it looks good.

Also, are there 140mm coolers as well?
