I managed to get a Mech for $300! I'm still waiting on deals for a case and storage, so I have yet to test it out. Reviews indicated the thermals are good, but only because the fans are spinning at ridiculous speeds. Noise may be a problem.

I'll update once I'm able to do a benchmark or two.

I guess there is the lifetime warranty to fall back on if they fail. Also, I was planning on lighting them up solid white anyway.

Ray tracing is the only thing I'm going to regret missing out on. Although, I think AMD has something similar in the works, so fingers crossed.

I was considering a better card, but I couldn't turn down that 5700 XT for $120 off, especially with the bonuses included. What GPU did you end up going with?
