Hey mate, courtesy note: you can fit the H60 Rad rotated if you put some intentional, but careful effort into training the tubes to wrap around the AIO block anticlockwise instead! You just need to make sure the tubes follow a safe curve next to the riser card and around the LHS of motherboard.
This will shift the thicker end of the rad to the riser side, no longer blocking the panel clips and better lining up the rad with the panel grill.
Once the rad position is trained, you can then mount a slim intake to the outside of the case to work with the slim on the inside of the rad (push+pull), and have the whole rad+fans package lift off with the side panel when you open her up.
I too am considering some small noctuas for the bottom and/or top grills for some exhaust.
Have not updated my build pics/description since upload when I had the rad round the same way as you, but plan to soon ish.
Interesting way to incorporate the portable monitor into it. Does it hold fairly sturdy?
Thank you! I was instantly attracted to small form factor and fully expected it to be challenging, thinking I would end up getting help from 1 or 2 friends but they were unavailable on the day.
Didn't find it too tricky to be honest. Not sure if it's just a fairly accommodating case for it's size, or if people exaggerate the difficulty of it, but I now feel like I could easily tackle any size build with ease.
ALSO NOTE: I got the main bulk of parts in a 15% off ebay sale, saving me $290AUD, bringing the total build cost (excluding peripherals) to roughly $2085AUD
Hey, me again!
I have built my Ryzen 5 2600 + RTX 2060 build in this case finally and loving it!
Just using stock Wraith Stealth cooler for now, but came back to your page for inspiration on how to better cool my CPU.
I am super impressed with your cable management considering non-modular ATX power supply (I went with SFX modular).
BUT I am really intrigued how you got the outer frame off the case, to gain better access to the outer mesh walls on the top, side and bottom...?
If you're still active, I would love some advice on how you achieved this, so as to further optimise my cable management! :D
Hey Diizzel, I just got this case and am choosing my graphics card. I noticed you said your msi gaming X card was too wide to use the graphics card holder bracket. Any problems with this at all? You don't feel like the card is able to jiggle too much?
I'm looking at building with this case and am keen on the idea of water cooling as well.
Just wondering where you managed to mount the water cooling fan/radiator?
