Nice, clean and tidy. Congrats!
Grrrr! Just the word "EXAMS" makes me get butterflies in the stomach.
Okay, I have 2 x 140 mm pulling air into the front, 1 x 120 mm pulling air in at the bottom next to PSU ( I did this because the drive bay is partially blocking one of the front fans). 1 x 140 mm top front above optical drive as intake, 1 x 140 mm top back exhaust, 2 x stock fans above the rad and 2 x 140 mm led fans below the rad, all as exhaust. I have filters all round. Overkill right? It gets so hot in this room in the summer ( no air con). I am a little paranoid about the temps in the case, now that I built this myself. I never worried about the old computer getting too hot because it was built by pros. Funny how the thought of it blowing up is more on my mind now than before, I should have a little more faith!!! Let me know what you think.
Gorgeous! In the last photo, it looks mysterious. So, I'd call it "Blue Smoke". Congrats!
Oh Lord, I have died and gone to Red heaven!!!! Me wants it! Congrats!
If you wouln't mind spending the time explaining to a noob like me. So you have 2 exhaust and 3 intake. Do you think mine are correct, I want to have the correct balance. In depth, please.
Thank you very much.
Hi, Nice build. How have you set your fans up? How many intake and exhaust? I have been reading forums about positive and negative air in the case. Some people say to put all the fans as intake and some say push/pull. I am a little confused now thinking I have the wrong set up. It is very hot where I live (at the moment) so I want to keep the case as cool as possible. Can you give me some insight. Much appreciated if you can.
When I was at school, I found most subjects boring. I know I could have done better. I'm learning more now because I'm interested.
Very, very nice. You really do tell a great story. Mabye you have missed your calling.
The lights are on a cord with individual stick on clips. Two meter lengths. Thanks for looking.
Speaking of temps, what are normal temps for CPU and GPU under load, say Rise of the Tomb Raider for example? My motherboard temps seem high around 40c sometimes, is that bad?
I wasn't serious, I didn't mean to be rude. Please accept my apologies. I don't even have a phone, so your'e one up on me. PC any day!
I put red lights in mine, I think they look subtle enough.
I absolutely love red. Looks exceptional. Oh, the runners hanging on the door give the photo an interesting look. Ha Ha!
Gorgeous colours. I could just sit there drooling and gazing for hours. It's like looking at a very beautiful fish tank.
I'm not into green, but that's really nice. Cool looking scissors too!
Please excuse my rude, but were you sober when you took those photos? Yep, those hoses look kinked. I'm sorry in advance, if you feel like a punching bag.
Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!Ouch!Ouch! And then some! Still, nice parts.
Thanks for passing on the info. Bought my cables yesterday, just waiting for them to arrive.
Your'e welcome! It is a real accomplishment, especially when it powers up without any issues. I really like looking at other peoples builds. We all learn something different from each one. I have learnt so much in the last 2 months. Before that I knew next to nothing about the inside of a PC case.
Awww! So sorry to hear that. I know how it feels. We all get so attached to our pets.
I hope so. I am worried my computer will blow up. That would be so tragic.
Thank you. I am a little proud, I thought building a computer was only for professionals.
Nice build. Is your computer named after the cute dog on your screen?
Congrats on your first build.+1 from me. Your cable work is way tidier than mine, I intend to fix that. It is good to see how other people do theirs, it's a bit of guidance for newbies like me.
Gorgeous colour. Great job.
Drooling right now.
Hi, Excellent build.+1 from me. I have just built mine. We have the same motherboard, case, cooler and graphics. I moved my radiator from the front of the case to the top and since then I have been having a beep on shut down. Only after the computer has been used for gaming. Do you have anything like this happening? I can't seem to find the answer. Also I have the stock fans and 2 led fans on the radiator as exhaust, the fans for the radiator are plugged into the fan connections coming from the block. Where did you plug the connection from the block, into the CPU fan header or the CPU/OPT header? Where did you plug your led fans on the radiator? I find the whole system to be surprisingly quiet though, except when I have it on performance. Nothing a pair of headphones can't fix. BTW, I love your cable management, I'm drooling right now. I am waiting on red/black cables, can't wait. It is good to find someone with similar components, at least we can swap notes. I am happy with this setup except for the beep.
Hi, Iv'e read my motherboard manual from front to back and there is no beep code list.....unless it's in braille! I even went to the Gigabyte website and there is a list of beep codes, for which motherboard...who knows!!!! Very frustrating.
Thanks so much, you might regret saying that, I have loads of questions.
Thanks, will check again and let you know.
Hi, I have just built my first computer, I have a Corsair Graphite 760T case in White with black, 4 fans on the radiator and 5 case fans and it is very quiet even in balance mode. On performance, it is loud but I wear earphones so I don't hear it when I'm gaming. The case has 2 beautiful side doors, one is clear.
Love the colours. Nice build. A+ from me.
Thank you for responding, The beep is a single high pitch, coming from the top where the radiator is. It only happens when I have been playing Rise of the Tomb Raider on high, the only game I am playing at the moment. It happens if I shut down immediately after the game. The strange thing is it wasn't happening when I had the radiator on the two front fans of the case as push/pull intake. I now have them on top as push pull exhaust.
Sorry, you are speaking to someone who 2 months ago did not know what the CPU was and where it is.
So what capacitor and where?
Hi, haven't worked out how to add my parts list, but they are listed in my build explanation, only no prices. Only just registered on the site. First time jitters ha ha. No miracle.
Thank you very much. I basically knew nothing about building. It is nice to get positive comments.
I will certainly look into that. It's hard to find a website where they actually have them in stock. Lots of these sites have bad reviews.
Thanks for responding so fast, I have checked the manual and there are no listed beep codes. I went through the whole book and unless I missed it, not there. My old computers manual has a list. Is it a universal list, or are they different for every motherboard?
Thanks. I'm working on cable management. I'd like to get red cables. Where can I buy the whole set? Got any Ideas as to why I have a beep at shut down?
WOW!!!! That is the neatest build I have seen so far. I am a newby at the build game, just built mine last month. I went from not knowing what the CPU was, or where it was in the case, to building one with no help other than forums and YOUTUBE. I have just registered with this website and have a lot of questions, so I hope I don't make a pest of myself. Congrats for building such a BEAST!!!!!
