Cable mod cables....that's the way to go. Love the red.
Okay, I do have an 8 year old PC, that still works really well mind you (could play Tomb Raider on low on it). It has the old grey things. The cables in that old girl are so messy it is unreal how bad it looks compared to the new one.
Thanks for passing on that info. I looked it up and the wattage for the GPU is 62W - 250W. That's interesting to know.
Not sure what this answer refers to????
Okay that's a relief.
Beautiful. Love, love, love, red! Just curios, How are your temps with the radiator fans on intake? I have the same case and I couldn't decide whether to have them as intake or exhaust. I have a push/pull config as exhaust. Do you have the top cover off as well? You can buy filters for the top, bottom and that tiny one at the rear top from PC Case Gear.
That's a good idea. I didn't really notice until now, I just stare at all the pretty lights!!! Question....Why does the code next to the power button on the motherboard sometimes shows AO and now it's showing bF?
Thank you kind sir.
That's clever thinking. The only thing I don't like about this case is the cover on top. I was trying to think of some way of raising it to allow enough space for air flow without having to take it off. Your's looks good.
If you want to get custom filters for the fans, even that tiny one at the top, you can buy them separately from PC Case Gear.
Thank you so much. If I try to answer the question, it will show that I know very little. I am a newbie and I signed up here to learn from all you guys. I built my computer from scratch with little knowledge, and totally surprised myself. So in technical terms, I don't know.
Nice, tidy build. Congrats.
That is soooo pretty! Nice build.
P.S. Love the mini guitar.
Nice build, love the case (same as mine). What did you put under the top cover to hold it up?
Nice build, I love red, white and black. I have the same motherboard and you are not wrong. The audio sound is unreal and the quality of the board is excellent (not to mention easy on the eye). I am not at all sorry I chose this motherboard. We have the same cable colours as well. Good choice! (I am a little biased).
Hi, Just thought I'd let you know I have changed my cables. I have added some new pics and given her a new name, check them out if you like.
I have a Corsair case, I wanted it big because of all the fans I put in there. The GPU is large and I can easily fit another one in down the track. There is nothing worse than trying to work in a tight space. I am a little paranoid about cooking my components, I like to keep things chilly. Anyway, have fun with your build, and be a little proud of yourself!
Gee I didn't know you could use any type of cleaner other than air. I'll keep that in mind.
Oh My! What a dirty PC. What did you use to get all that dirt out? I watched a PC tech on YouTube use a leaf blower, could not believe my eyes!
How lovely to do that for your mum. I felt my heart just melt!
Good job! Mine is a first timer too. So good on you, you have room for upgrades, every one starts out small at one stage.
Thanks, I am really impressed how well these components work. So far ,so good!
Great build. Congrats!
Wish I could help you, but I knew very little 2 months ago. I am reading forums a lot because I really like learning all tis stuff.
Great job! I also have the build bug. I really want to build another one!!!
Thank you. It does run well. I am at the moment changing the cables to the cable mod ones, so I will be putting some more photos up when I'm done.
Gosh that red looks great. Well done.
Very, very nice!
Thank you too!
What a lucky 8 year old and a nice big bro. Congrats guys!
Speaking of Builds, I just clapped my eyes on yours and almost fell off my chair. It is jaw droppingly beautiful. I have never seen anything like it. It puts mine to shame. I am really jealous right now. You have put so much work into it, it is a credit to you. It is such an inspiration. I am rambling, because how can one find the right words to describe it. My little brother was in the Army here in Australia, he was killed in a car crash when he was 21.
Thanks for looking at my build. The system beeps once at boot, normal.....then upon shut down one beep. Normal? That's what I need to know. It happened when I ran 3DMark when the GPU was put to the test. I suppose I will have to ask Gigabyte themselves, but getting an answer is a wait! Thanks for trying to solve the issue.
Yeah our TV isn't very old. If my monitor kicks the bucket, I'll be running to the shops!!!
I know right? I can't stand playing anything with crappy graphics. I like everything to look as real as possible, makes you feel like you're actually there! I haven't got a 4K screen, I'll have to wait until this one dies, it was a xmas pressy.
Yep, I have that and it is fun to use.
Yep, when I redo those awful cables.
WOW! You're brilliant. You should make a living out of building standout cases. Personally, I found your description very entertaining. Hope your build gets featured.
Thanks so much. I have only been playing Rise of the Tomb Raider so far and The Walking Dead. I have all the settings on max and it is flawless to say the least. I haven't overclocked, I am new at this, so a little apprehensive. I still have my old computer with a Gigabyte MOBO, it is 8 years old and never failed. That is the main reason for sticking with a Gigabyte MOBO. I am going to put The Witcher, and Far Cry Primal on soon and see how they perform. Everything is working excellent, it is very quiet, except when all the fans are on max, but who cares, I can't hear it with head phones. This MOBO has excellent 3D sound blaster as well. I can play the games in 3D but heard it doesn't make that much difference. It also has Thunderbolt, what ever that is. I need to read up a bit more LoL. The GPU has never reached any higher than 65c degrees at load, and that is on a hot day. I was checking out the water cooler that can be attached to the GPU, looks pretty cool. I suppose I would probably only need it if I was using SLI and overclocking. But this GPU is really quite a beast, it keeps pretty cool. I never thought I would ever build my own computer, I thought it would be too difficult, who'da thunk! The only problem with all the Motherboards out there is, they don't have enough internal USB headers. I had to buy a NZXT USB header card so I could plug in my card reader, the led lights and Corsair link for the PSU and the Cooler. My cables are messy, but not for long! BTY, someone had to tell me how to put all the prices in with my build details, because I only had the explanation and the photos, how embarrassing!!!
Well it certainly is original. I should think of a better name for mine, I have to redo my cables when the new ones arrive so I might change the name then, or do I have to stick with it?
This is an absolute work of art, AMAZING. I love the lighting. Where did you get it? It would be a shame if this build is not featured. PERFECT!!!!!!
I can see why you called it Milk Labs. Very eye catching and unusual, and a great build. It's a credit to you.
Okay, thanks so much for that. Will change it around when I redo my cables.
WOW! It looks like a mini Science Lab. Cool as! Congrats.
The led lights are so beautiful. You did a great job. I am soooo jealous!!!
Okay, will I reverse the top front to exhaust? Have a look at my build and you will see the led fan, front top. I have that as intake. This will only give me the 2 front and the smaller bottom one as intake, will that be enough?
Really neat and not to mention, very pretty.
