I'm not crazy about any of them (including Trump), but my ideology is much closer to that of Trump than any of the democratic candidates and I think that a lot of the policies that a lot of the democratic candidates would put in place would be really bad for the economy. Overall I'm likely to vote for Trump if only to keep far-left candidates out of office.

So now instead of the people having student debt the government can have student debt...that might be an improvement but it's still not exactly ideal. Let's be honest our government needs to reduce spending, not take on multi-trillion dollar plans.

Well then, you could say that this was a surprise to be sure, although I'm not sure that it was especially welcome, but I'm guessing it's not unwelcome either. Just somewhere in the middle.

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Naming a Computer"

Just think of something that is cool and name it after that. For example when I was building my computer me and my brother had been talking about 4D shapes a lot that day so I decided to name my computer 'The 4th Dimension'.

Also, you don't really have to name a computer. If you want to name it just because its page on PCPP will require a title, you could just call it something descriptive ie budget gaming PC, build for my brother, etc.

When the teacher does an example write it down in your notes. Later on, when you have time, practice it on other problems (try to find some good ones online probably), make sure you check to make sure your work is right. If you run into problems google them, if you can't find out email your teacher or post a thread asking for help somewhere (probably not PCPP though since most of us aren't exactly college professors). That way you get some practice before the test and are more ready.

Yes, I'm agreeing with you. When she said 'father' she doubtlessly meant Organa because she might not have even known she was adopted, and she definitely didn't know that Vader was her father, and George Lucas hadn't decided that yet either.

  • the equation to find the root of a real number is apparently very complicated, you can use a calculator or a computer though. Otherwise, you might just have to find yourself memorizing them. You could google it though.

  • according to some googling:

sqrt(1/2) + sqrt((1/2) * i)

Undertale is a good cheap RPG but it's not for everyone or that long. Gets a lot of bad rap because some of it's fan base is extremely toxic but that's not a reason to pass on a singleplayer game. Also if you get the online service you get a bunch of free NES and SNES games, that might be a good idea.

I don't use Lego anymore, not because it's childlike but because they are expensive and I have other things I like to do better. If I had no school or job and a bunch of money I might get into it.

Also hype for the new Lego Star Wars. It will certainly make a fine addition to my collection.

I didn't think the Nationals would make it to the postseason up until late September. Tbh they only had much of a chance because Yelich got hurt and the Cubs and Phillies fell apart. If Yelich had been healthy I think they would have lost the wild card game.

Anyways when they were up 2-0 to the Cards in the NLCS I predicted they would win the World Series, my prediction still stands. Plus with the Astros up 3-1 in the ALCS it means that we should see a World Series with Cole, Verlander, Greinke, Strasburg, Corbin, and Scherzer. That's a win in my books.

Also, I'm a Twins fan so I hope the Yankees don't get anywhere further than this.

It seems to me like an immoral thing to cave into China's demands and put money before the liberty of others. But I suppose it's probably a lot more complicated than that. I still have no respect for organizations that are giving in to China's demands just to make more money.

What you did was not wrong. Here is the sad truth, they sit in front of places like McDonalds a lot of times, and will try to get you to think they are going to get food from the location they are standing in front of. But sadly, they will get the money and go to the nearest liquor store or sadly, the nearest dealer.

Next time you run into something like this, instead of offering money, offer to get them a cheap burger or something, you will learn that most of them will pass up on the offer because that is not why they need the money.

Not to make the OP feel like a jerk but what he did was still bad in a sense because he should have offered them food. It's the thought that counts, even if he didn't think that they would use it to buy drugs/achohol.

Everyone feels that way, but 1 man's view of fixing it is another man's view of making things worse. Democracy means that the power is in the people, not in the individual.

"Democracy is the power of equal votes for unequal minds." - Charles I

Is that bad? Well I suppose so but

"Many forms of Government have been tried and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried." - Winston Churchhill
