It's about the same as the Q6600. It's alright. Good enough for Windows 10, web browsing, movies, music, and microsoft programs.

I built my mom a computer with a Q8300 for 25$ off ebay. It works fine for her. The older gen hardware is still decent.

Good choice on the 4gb graphics cards in crossfire. You'll be running most, if not all, of your games on ultra without any issues.

I don't know the exact power consumption of my rig but I can tell you that I ran this exact setup with a Antec Neo Eco 620 (620 watts). I did not overclock anything. I ran firestrike and some demanding games without any problems. You should be able to run stock crossfire 270x on your CS650M without any problems. Overclocking I can not speak to as I do not have the experience. I bought the corsair 850w because I plan to upgrade gpu or possibly overclock in the future. At this time i have no need to overclock as my setup rips all the games I play.

Nice choice on the 4gb vram. I have crossfire 270x also but only 2gb. The vram is the only thing that limits my settings for some games. I was thinking about upgrading to the same cards you have. Nice build.

I just turn crossfire on. I haven't played with the AMD settings at all. I change settings from ultra to high, etc in games. Download GPU-z, open it and set it to monitor the vram. See how much vram your games take up on ultra settings. If GPU-z shows any games at 1.9 gb then turn down the game settings some (to < 1.850). The only limitation I've come across is the vram. Otherwise my crossfire rips any game on ultra. I only play at 1080p. Also I have my side fan pushing air out instead of bringing air in. It brings down the gpu temperatures some.

I like the crossfire sapphire R9 270x. I have crossfire sapphire vapor-x R9 270x 2gb and they rock any game on ultra except when more than 2gb vram memory is needed. I play evolve and have to set on medium settings because any higher video settings require more than 2gb vram and the performance is poor. I've been thinking about trading up to the dual-x r9 270x 4gb. How do you like the dual-dual-x? Are the fans loud? you should run firestrike and post the results.
