Yeah. The price for Threadrippers are unbeatable rn. I got my dad a 1920X for 390$ AFTER TAX. Thats not all I still had a 100$ gift card lying around and paid only 290 after tax. He only really uses photoshop and light 3d rendering so the 1920X will be a complete overkill but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to build my first HEDT rig for basically the same price as a consumer desktop.

Uhm.. So this is nice and all.. But why the a Threadripper for gaming? They are great CPUs but terrible for gaming.. and 128GB of memory? And even 2400 Mhz at that... But oh well... If the machine does what you want it to do..

Yeah.. for 1080p ultra settings the 980 Ti is still a really good videocard. And with 1440p more or less.. I would suggest to watch some benchmarks on youtube or something so you can see the results for yourself...

Don't listen to him. The 980 Ti is actually better than the gtx 1060. So If you want to run 1440p I recommend a gtx 1070 or above. If you want to play 4k you'd need at least a gtx 1080 Ti if you want to hit 60fps.

I have 7. 3 Intake fans in the bottom, 3 exhaust on the top and an additional exhaust in the back. And Why? it would just look stupid with RGB fans when only half of the fan slots are occupied. ;)

Actually I do. Allthough they look gorgeous I would not buy them.. Two fans already started to have a rattling noise. Unfortunately I can't recommend them.

Ah alright... glad to hear that the sound card worked out well... rn I have plugged my headphones into my focusrite scarlett solo.. also a fantastic midi audio interface. But yeah, nowadays people usually get a dac or just use the audio interface from their xlr mic Like I do. But hey.. A good seems like the deal on Ebay really did turn out for the better ;)

Love the build.. But why a sound card? the onboard audio usually good enough and if you want best quality a DAC would have been a better buy imho

I'tll work.. ya need to turn some settings in OBS down but it'll work.. I've seen plenty of streamer who have decent streams anduse a quad core i5... An i7 or a r7 are NOT required.. Its better if you have an i7 or r7 but the i5 will do just fine
