It's not a screeching from the computer, it's actually coming directly from the speakers as a generated sound. I'm just not sure why the computer is struggling so much
I realized that my hard drive is very full, do you think this could be the problem?
Yeah the speakers are plugged in to outlets. So I'd say power supply should be fine. I just wish I could figure out this issue, I've been troubleshooting for awhile now through the FL studio forums.
I also have a UR22mkII audio interface connected with JBL Studio Monitors and a Microphone. Do you think that could be adding a lot more?
Its working great. I haven't noticed any problems haha
Its black. Its white. Its a babe
Also I'll probably be upgrading my GPU in 3-4 years so its not pernament. Will the 970 work for that aswell? I mean it does come with Metal Gear
Are there any problems with the AMD drivers compared to NVidias? Also, would I have to upgrade my power supply or is my 750 watt one fine? Will it fit in my case?
Black and white
Can you link me the best 390 to get?
Which brand of R9 390 would be best?
What did you do to the GPU to make it fit in color wise? I am getting that GPU and also am going for a black and white theme with that case.
Great thanks. I'll go with h440 then
So do you think my case will be cool enough with the stock fans and 2 140mm fans I am buying for the top?
Great thanks! I'm probably just going to stop building my PC from now and make these decisions when I am about to buy the PC, as parts could be a bit cheaper by then as well as I will make better decisions having the money for the parts. I'll definitely look at choosing a better monitor though!
Thanks! I kind of chose the monitor randomly, so if there is one you would reccomend that would be great! For the CPU, I live an hour from a microcenter, so I can get it for $280. And no I don't have any monitor currently.
I'll have the money for everything around October
What if I overclocked the GTX 970? Would I need more cooling, and would it be pretty close to the 980?
Whats the main difference between the two? How does USB3.1 work?
Isn't the cooler I chose comparable to those 2? Or are those better?
I will be buying the core at microcenter, so it'll only be 280 bucks, not 330. There won't be a big difference in price to get the xeon. Should I get the 980 though?
Hey how'd you get that white cable look? Might look nice on my build https://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/
How does the Ram fit with that cooler? Would I be able to fit 4 4GB ram in without having issues with the cooler?
So how does the dual boot work? When you boot up will it give you an option? Is there a guide you used for this?
How does this look? Will this CPU cooler fit in my build?
This is the one for appearance. I'll use yours for the pure noctua build.
Alright, sweet. I think I might go with some corsair fans just because of colors and stuff... I want it a little nicer. As for cases I think I am choosing between the Define S and the one in this build. Your build looks pretty nice though I might go with that.
Otherwise I might just get a black soundproof case and get all the noctuas, I wouldnt really be looking in it and I would have good cooling.
If I decide to do corsair, which fans should I do? And should I replace all of my stock case fans?
How did you go about painting the cooler? My only issue with that fan is the color..
Alright so I am looking at making a PC, and I thought I had it finished but I think I might get into some music production this year, so I'm assuming I'll want a silent pc (so probably this case).
Heres my build so far:
What do you think I should do to make it a bit quiter? I will probably be getting that case, and maybe a different CPU cooler. 1600 is kind of my budget but I might spend a little extra if needed.
Also, how loud does your computer run? For audio production with eventual mics, how quiet should my PC be?
Also, do the graphics card fans matter that much? Apparently they only go on when necessary, and when using audio and music programs I highly doubt there will be a need for that.
Also, could I just get a fan speed controller and keep fans at low speed when they need to be low? Maybe buy a couple noctuas but keep some of the others and just turn them down real low when recording?
Thanks I'll look at this! The only problem is the browness, since it was all red and black haha.
But performance > looks!
Would I be pairing those case fans up with the ones that come with my PC?
Are you using Unreal Engine 4 for your game?
My build is also pretty similar to yours. I am leaving a space open for another 970 GPU later on. When I tried to do this in the PC part picker to check wattage, I got this:
1 additional PCI-Express 6-pin power connector is needed.
1 additional PCI-Express 8-pin power connector is needed.
I found your build which has the same motherboard and 2 970 GPU's so I am pretty confused.
Also, are your temperatures good? I am getting the Hyper 212 EVO to cool the CPU, but I am not sure if I should get a water cooler instead. Thanks!
Heres my build: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/82hkrH (W/2nd GPU, will buy with only 1)
How is SLI 970 working out for you?
Here is what I have so far: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/TNykrH
Yeah my man issue with it is it kind of ups the price of my PC a lotttttttttttttttt. I'll probably decide later on and see how much money I'm making with lawns and stuff. Thanks for input!
What if I got 2 970s? Would that get pretty close to 980? Like if I buy one 970 now, then later when I have more money buy another one.
Is it worth replacing all of the fans? I am getting the same case, and was thinking of just buying two fans, one 200mm for the top and one 120mm for the bottom.
Where did you get your GPU for 240? And I'm assuming you got your core from microcenter (I'm going to do the same)
This is realllllyyyyy nice. Any tips on mine build? http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2PWZ7P
Also, where do you get LED strips? I think they'd look nice on my build
For my build, I am getting a 970. Is that good enough? I will be using it for music production, programming, 3D management, and a lot of gaming but some people are saying its worth getting the 980 instead. I'll have dual monitors eventually
What program(s) do you use for music production?
Would you say there is any point in getting the 980 or is the 970 fine? I'm not sure if its worth the 200 dollar price difference.
Thanks! I'll consider it. How does 980 compare to 970?
alright sweet. thanks
I would say this around the maximum. A lot more then I was setting out to pay for, however I think it is better to have a future proof PC that I work a long time for then a decent one that I'll have to upgrade later on.
Maybe 1600 max?
My bad http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2PWZ7P
