Oh they're super easy. Really strong magnets and pretty flexible too.

I can't really talk for the durability, but they're still holding up just as well when I first got them

I plugged the front panel fans to the fan controller behind the case. I did plug in the pump header into the CPU fan port though. I don't remember where I connected the cooler fans to, sorry :P

WOW now that's a parts list! I didn't realize that you could get a custom H440! What's it going to look like?

I'm jealous of that RAM, it looks sooo good with the motherboard. May I tempt you further with some kickass keycaps to go with that keyboard? :P

Thanks for reaching back to me. This build will definitely go featured. Can't wait!

Thanks! I had the same thinking too when I was building this.

Push/pull is working just fine, my CPU is about 34 degrees at idle. I found it also particularly handy that there's the case filter fits the push fans just right to cover it from dust.

It not silent, however. I think it's because I have the stock case fans installed as push, which may be the culprit behind the lingering noise. Still, having more fans leads to more noise regardless, so just keep that in mind.

I'm pretty satisfied with it

Thanks! The fans that it comes with are SUPER loud.

I can still hear it though (think like a plane going over your head in the distant sky). It might be because of the stock fans that came with the case ; I still have those installed at the front. I can't hear the Corsair fans if I put my ear right next to it, and the Fractal Venturi fans I haven't evaluated yet.

Using SpeedFan seemed to work to quiet down a little bit, but not down to completely silent.

Thanks for checking it out, and sick parts list! You could probably just switch the fans on the NH-D15 to something with blue on it to color match it. I forgot how the mount works exactly, but I think the wires that clip onto the heatsink are able to be hooked through the 120mm (140mm?) holes on any given fan.

The orientation for the cables should be Clip Inside for the 24 pin motherboard extension, 8 pin CPU extension, and the two 8 pin PCIe extensions

No and no.

There's Wi-Fi capability built in, and the onboard audio sounds really clear!

That link is only for designing the color scheme.

I ordered the actual cables from Ensourced: http://www.ensourced.net/design-your-own-paracord-sleeved-extensions/

Thanks for checking it out!

Your parts list literally hits everything right on the head. It's admittedly more white/blue than my build was haha. It's going to look STUNNING.

You could also throw in an RGB LED strip in the list to surround the window with. That, and some fans for the back and the top would add more to it. I've always wanted to use the Corsair AF Fans, paint the blades white, and the color ring the darker shade of blue to match the motherboard.

When/If you post your build, you'll surely get my +1

The Cablemod Widebeam strips only come in those two sizes, so I had to get 150cm of total length to route the strip across the bottom, up the back side, back towards the back panel, and across the top towards the front to light up the whole case.

Varmilo VB87M Bluetooth Mechanical keyboard with Gateron Blue switches. Keyset is GMK Electric Bluegaloo modifiers and the stock mint green front printed keycaps for alphanumerics.

Literally no input lag, highly recommend.

Oh wow, you are an awesome parent! I'm so happy that I've inspired some people with this build

Yes, this build can do all of that and more. This build should be able to last you a large number of years, especially for workstation uses.

When you do gift it to him, tell him I said happy birthday as well!

I didn't include them in the build because I've had these monitors for a while now.

The one at the left is the Asus PB238Q (1920x1080), and the one at the right is a Dell S2009W (which I'm sure has been long discontinued, 1600x900).

I'm doing the same radiator placement as you for my next PC in a Define R5, and I was mostly worried about how to mount the HDD cage. But I didn't know about spaces in the honeycomb mesh.

If at all possible, could you link a picture of what this looks like exactly? I'm very curious.

Am I too late for this post?

I just wanted to say that I accidentally stumbled upon your build looking at builds with WD Caviar Black HDD (for some reason), and this build is ******* amazing. Seriously.

So much attention to detail, so much care to customize this build, it's just ******* incredible. I'm not one to normally comment on completed builds on PCPP, but this build REALLY stood out to me amongst the ones that I see often.

Kudos to you, Alex.

Have you experienced any coil whine from the G1 980 Ti? I'm probably going to buy one for my next build, and I wanted to know if this is still an issue with the most recent production ones
