I'm going to be blunt here. This is utterly painful to look at. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING? I'll run through all the parts in this system and go over what was good or bad with them. Firstly, your r3 1200 could have easily been the r5 1600 or 2600 for not much more. You would get more cores and performance out of any other CPU. The r3 1200 is an incredibly weak CPU and it isn't worth your money for a $1,000 build. I have no idea why you would go for an alpine fanless cooler, but if you want silence, go ahead. Your mobo is fine. But WHY would you opt for 32 gigs of RGB RAM?! That's ridiculous! Unless you're making 3d models or using this as a server (which I doubt), you easily could have saved $70 and went with dual-channel memory, 16 gigabytes in total. It would barely make a difference in your gaming experience or browsing. Your m.2 SSD is fine, but a little expensive. WHY WOULD YOU SPEND $200 ON A GT 1030 3gb?! You easily could have picked out a gtx 1050 or 1050ti for that same price point, or used that extra saved money for a gtx 1060 or even gone RTX, which would be much more balanced. The GT 1030 is a trash GPU and has a terrible amount of VRAM. The case is cheap quality, but I guess it's not the worse thing with this build. Your PSU is RGB... why? You have a PSU shroud you can't even see it. But once again not the biggest flaw here. You have a CD writer which is also outdated. Your wifi card is decent, but not worth $85. The peripherals are fine, but not for gaming or long term use. For your monitor, $300 is definitely too much to pay, but you didn't list the resolution, the refresh rate, the response time, or the type of panel, so I can't judge. What I do know is that you could a 1440p 120hz monitor for around the same price. This PC will easily be outdated in months. I'm shocked that you thought this was a good idea, and you need to consult somebody before you build another PC. Please make better choices next time.

Wow! Good idea saving up for a PC in college. Most people in college don't have the money to spend and end up buying potatoes, so it's relieving to see college student buying a GTX 1070!

There should be an arrow or some kind of indicator on the cooler, and depending on the fan intake method (push/pull), put that to your preference. If your temps are noticeably higher when facing a certain direction, put it the other way. I'm 12 also, and am in the process of building my 2nd PC! Keep sticking with the hobby!

I definitely would have gone with a cheaper i5, or even a higher end i3 for your GPU, which only has 3 gigs of VRAM. Other than that, your build looks great! Good choice on the CPU cooler, and nothing wrong with an overkill PSU. +1

When you benchmark, you can get over your monitors refresh rate, even though you aren't really getting that FPS. Your PC is able to get that FPS, but the monitor can't display it.
