Hey man! Awesome build it looks super sick. I actually bought the same Alliance case and I was wondering how you got your Alliance logo at the front to light up? Thanks!
Hey man, super late to the party but I have an h510. Like the h500 it doesnt support vertical GPU on its own, what did you use to get around it?
Dude im here 13 months later looking for the same answer lol
I just purchased the Alliance version of this case! Let's side aside our differences real quick so I can ask, how did you get the Horde logo to light up? Thanks!
Sorry for late response, I feel that I have had some FPS drop over time (ive had the card for about a year and a half now) but only like a difference of 110 down to 100FPS, but I like to think it's more NVIDIA's ****** RTX updates that mess with the GTX cards. 99% of my games in 1440p run at 60FPS or more even at the highest settings. Now I would recommend a 2060 if you haven't decided already but this card is solid enough
It never failed per say, but tested against other 1070tis it was ehhhh and I think it definitely got worse over time. I’d recommend a 1660ti/2060+ 👍
Hahahah no problem man. I actually ended up making a no-tempered glass Meshify C build and got the SF noctuas for radiator and AF noctuas for airflow and I couldnt be happier. Must've gone down 15-20DB compared to my previous build (helps that I ended up using a G12 bracket to watercool my GPU, so it's icy AND silent lol)
Got it, no problem on late it's good info for the future lol. TY my guy
THis build is nuts lmao. +1
sick build man! What are GPU/CPU temps like?
Hey man, this build is sick, +1 up the wall. Literally the only "issue" i see is that the one fan in your picture is backwards, usually that vent is meant for exhaust not intake but it's up to you.
Hahaha awesome, ty man. I actually got help on reddit like a week ago about it and they linked me this https://www.amazon.com/inRobert-Adapter-Sleeved-Graphic-Cooler/dp/B07F762YY1/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1543858616&sr=8-4&keywords=vga+fan+adapter
which solved all my problems. Pretty sure it's exactly what you described though feelsgoodman. Appreciate the help anyway! :D
Now my GPU thermals are at 55C MAXIMUM on Overwatch and For Honor and stuff with like 20-30% fan speed. Literally soundless at times. I'm in heaven.
Hi vkang! I appreciate the response! Reddit actually saved me and gave me a link to this wire: https://www.amazon.com/inRobert-Adapter-Sleeved-Graphic-Cooler/dp/B07F762YY1/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1543371224&sr=8-4&keywords=vga+to+fan+adapter
which was exactly what I was looking for. If you ever think ur fans are too loud or smthn then here ya go! :D
okay that's actually sick. I have the kraken g12 so at this moment that's not "useful" but I can def keep that in mind when I do my own custom loop. Thanks!
ohhhhhhh duh lol. I have a Kraken G12: https://www.nzxt.com/products/kraken-g12-white
so for me a GPU based thermal system is better. sorry for the trouble! :D
Got it. I was mainly looking for a way to control my radiator fans based on GPU temps, and I just found it: https://www.amazon.com/inRobert-Adapter-Sleeved-Graphic-Cooler/dp/B07F762YY1/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1543244436&sr=8-4&keywords=vga+to+fan+adapter
This actually helped, inspired me to look up something on amazon and I found this: https://www.amazon.com/inRobert-Adapter-Sleeved-Graphic-Cooler/dp/B07F762YY1/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1543244436&sr=8-4&keywords=vga+to+fan+adapter
which literally solves all my problems lol.
actually it did, inspired me to look up something on amazon and I found this: https://www.amazon.com/inRobert-Adapter-Sleeved-Graphic-Cooler/dp/B07F762YY1/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1543244436&sr=8-4&keywords=vga+to+fan+adapter
Wow this build is freakin legit, +++++++1. Personal question, how did you configure the fans for your GPU when watercooling? I have PWM ones connected to my case but idk how to make them react to GPU temps feelsbad.

Gotcha, actually got an X42 from Microcenter maybe ~30 minutes before u posted this comment LOL. I think it'll do great tho so thanks for the help!
Hey man this is good stuff! A great first build. I would say upgrade storage when you can but otherwise you did an excellent job! Also what's college life w a higher end PC like? (senior in HS, kinda worried abt bringin a PC to college cuz theft/cramped spaces)
All this awesome build, RGB, windowed case and amazing new GPU and CPU.....but then he has to throw in an anime mouse pad smh smh smh.
I'm a bad guy for commenting on an old post, but does the G12 bracket not work with the "i" series Corsair AIOs?
I'm a bad guy for asking questions on an old post but does they G12 bracket not work for the "i" series of Corsair AIOs?
gotcha, good stuff man
Lmao it looks like your computer A S C E N D E D
This build is awesome man, great work, but why did you get a b360 board with an 8700k? Thanks!
gotcha gotcha, good stuff man
Good work man! No criticism but I do want to hear your opinion on why a Z370 board and not a H360/H310 or something for a non-OC-able CPU. Thanks!
No problem man. When I got my 2600x I actually tried to OC and was having trouble past 4.6Ghz, and when researching found a popular reddit post that clarified that the Turbo that Ryzen uses on X's, and unlike Intel overall, is BASICALLY an overclock lol.
The guy above was terribly, terribly rude but he does make 1 good point. If you just leave the 2600x alone it "turbos" itself up to 4.25Hz when needed. That is more than stable enough, won't make the PC hot or need more TDP than 95w. Ryzen is really good at basically overclocking the X series, so just my recommendation to disable your overclock and let it be :)
Ight so that’s not horrible, idk if it’ll make much a difference but I think I’m gonna go w the Louqe Ghost. It’s just so pretty ;3
If kept in proper care and with this build quality, I would be astonished if this build isnt operable and relevant 6 years from now.
Dang good stuff. How hot does that GPU run?
tfw a 15yr old is the first PCPP'r w a 9700k build and ur 18yr old *** is too poor to even afford half a chip
Holy crow, this is better than the build I worked months for. This is a single birthday build?? Can you adopt me pls.
That’s weird, mine is definitely 240mm. I got it off Newegg and it fits fine. Idk why CM website has 277mm lol.
This is incredibly well done, and one of the few times I was actually interested in how the PC was built lol. Excellent work my man, ++++++1
