Mush city, it’s an overpriced membrane keyboard in my opinion
Msi has a feature where you don’t need a cpu to update bios
They seem about right, I would say the RAM is priced slightly higher than better kits but besides that everything is very very on point. You could knock money off of teh build too if you bought some stuff used
The Umbara episodes were amazing
It is good +1 op.
And 500 is about what most budget builds are on here nowadays
83 for an r9 fury? That’s pretty nuts OP
Nice build +1
Any issues with the board and the legos?
The 290 and the 290x were legendary cards and still are quite competent today great choice OP.
This build confuses me
This is truly OverPowered
Impressive, most impressive
Look into the memory oc, it would improve performance. 2666mhz shouldn’t be impossible to hit
Something like the new RX 3000 series which should be around the same as an RTX 2070. Or the RX Navi whenever those are released
Nice really cool to see how it turned out!
+1 however Ryzen loves faster ram. If a320 supports memory overclocks I would look into getting it up to 2666 MHz at the very least.
It would’ve cost more tho. I assume op just bought an AM4 athlon for 20-40 dollars to update the bios.
While the 1600 is cheaper, adding a video card would’ve added around 140 for an RX 570 with OP possibly not having that money or deemed it unnecessary.
You posted this on r/amd right?
You said the Apple sticker is a ward spell...
No one is taking this computer
+1 for Apple sticker
Went on my computer to look at it and man it’s awesome wish I could give it more than 1 upvote. Hope you get featured.
So many photos it crashes my phone browser. +1
Love it +1 but why the Xeon?
Added some more photos of the atrocious cable management and some bad ones with the lights of and rgb on
I know just being dumb. This seems like an LTT video tho, just the way it’s together.
How is the Vega treating you for 1440p 144?
Best cpu + video card pairing ever
The 1st one?
I’ll try and some more!
It was sort of a gift, I split the cost with someone and that was on sale, so it was cheaper. I know its overkill and really 600 watts would be fine for future expansion but it is what it is.
The 2200g is better than the 1400 but the 1500x would be a slight step up.
That was some “The Verge” Level paste application.
It would probably be the i7-930 bottlenecks the video card.
But can it run crysis?
Use Ryzen for that stuff when looking at the builds section here.
We did it beef stew
No idea they made a new case, I’ll have to check it out now.
Pop another stick of DDR2-800 then you will have an even better rig!
Probably couldn’t have used a 7970 with only 650 watts, that card has a 250w power draw.
How did you fit the 1080? I thought the s4 mini was too small for that ZOTAC 1080.
Awesome, I’ll have to try it out. What did you use to cut the acrylic?
How did you install that gpu backplate? I’m thinking of surprising a friend with one after we build his rig next month.
It’s bad too, the GDDR6 memory can fail, there are other failures however I can only remember this one
Yeah but if the board had 4 DIMMS then it wouldn’t matter
Were you able to boot into win 10? Saw the partition on the 9th (I think) image.
Yeah raytracing is something that probably won’t pan out for a few years.
Yeah I’ve been looking at them a bit
