in the future i recommend trying to pick up an i5 4690k since it is unlocked and most games require a quad core. also an aftermarket would be great for ocing an i5 4690k

im sorry but you completely went against the purpose of the site. The purpose is to pick parts to build a computer. building a pc saves 30-50% off retail.

can you create a partlist for me that is around 1000-1100 i want a 970 and i5 4690k. also want it to last a few years.

should have gone with a 4690k for $30 more and cut your losses or get a less expensive mobo since it seems like you dont want to overclock you didnt need the z97. happy gaming.

an ssd would be a great idea, but if you plan on not using a graphics card you should have really considered 2400 mhz ram. apu's rely on ram speed. i suggest a kingston savage 1x8 gb 2400mhz. but you should be fine if you arent using it for gaming.
