heat shoudn't be a issue in most m atx cases even and you sed your going to be streaming so im guessing you'd want a smaller pc i made you a decent priced build for what i think would be great for your needs for 1k with an i5 and a 1070

i didn't say it cant play games but if you listening to music even with i5s you'll drop a few frames then some more if your in a skype call i never sed the i3 cant play games well just you'd get a more even fps with amd its just what you want my opinion is the fx 8350 is better than the i3 but if a i3 is what you want go ahead buddy

i'd recommend the gtx 1070 or a rx 480 depending on your budget i dont see the 1060 as really beong to worth it just one persons opinion and maybe if you get a 8gb rx 480 down the line you can get another one and get close to a 1080s performance i mean one 480 is enough for 1080p gaming for now

If your not scared of waiting i'd wait half a year and get zen i mean you did say within the next year and im pretty sure zen would wreck intel when it comes to rendering with there summit ridge

instead of a i3 i'd recommend a fx 6300 or a 8350 if your playing triple as as much as a i3 works if your say listening to music and in a skype call it will slow you down a lot not so much with the 6300 and not really at all with the 8350 etc just my opinion
