i'd say a 1060 isnt powerful enough for good settings 85+ fps gameplay on games like gta 5 but bo3 i'd think so (i own a 1080 for 1080p 144hz and find im perfectly fine with anything above 80 -90

I'd get a used SSD then buy a 1tb HDD a little later when you can afford it but if you only want to buy something and not need to buy anything again I'd go for a HDD

ehh with a pentium a gtx 1060 would blow the water with a rx 480 you really wont get that great of a performance with a rx 480 and a hyper threaded duel core so i'd recommend going for a i5 as a minimum also cex have amazing deals on used i5s keep in mind they do offer returns and 2 year warrantys

here are my recommendations https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SCPUINTI56500KA#.WJYrRH-DiAk https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=SCPUINTI54460A#.WJYrU3-DiAk

nice c: btw if your an fps player I'd recommend a zowie za12 or za13 if your planning on getting a new mouse I quit cs a few months ago when I used my naga and did a game without a warmup or any other fps games on months and did better then I used to do 0_0

also a quote from your profile: Just don't overvolt above 1.35V - **** you my 8320s stock voltage is above that and I have it at 1.46 - 1.5v

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Is my Razer Naga (2014) mouse dying?"

yea I had the same problem with my naga try cleaning the sensor with slightly damp cloth just a tiny bit then blowing in it (it worked for a while after that then I had to do the same thing

either that or you could slam it on your desk a few times that worked sometimes to :D

I'm assuming you can buy I would strongly recommend a 770 or 680 over any 760 if you can get one for under $80 also always check websites like craigslist if your fine with face to face you can always get a better deal that way like i got a 290 for £90 that i know i can sell on ebay for £150

anyway, a good overclocking board for amd would be like $85 compare to like $130 on intel and there a lot cheaper then i5s in the first place

I used amd over drive to OC the CPU do you not think I'm aware of this your just telling me what everyone else has told me at least 5 times on this thread as for throttling I've never seen any thermal throttling and used overdrives stability test with all of the test things clicked - no throttling

I might add to your comment I find when I was into cs a lot rather then a lot of other games I found the game to be un smooth unless I was running at 300 fps plus with a 144hz monitor oc to 190hz (if you don't know how that's possible if your graphics card is putting out 600 fps at once it will show you the most recent frame in turn making it feel smoother

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Low FPS"

not exactly the monitor doesn't limit the amount of frames your graphics card can put out the only limit is the amount it can put out

Comment reply on Forum Topic "Low FPS"

first thing i would do is go into the console and type fps_max 0 but it shouldn't be limited to like 150 - 230 as the normal limit is 300 without setting no limit

for the price of a 480 you could get duel 290s and thats like close to 980 ti performance if you buy face to face and do quite a bit of looking around maybe go up to $250 for the gpus which would be great for 1440p 144hz plus your motheboard already supports crossfire

also if you want to go for a single gpu setup r9 furys are quite a bit better then 480s for not that much more

heres some 290 crossfire - 295x2 1440p benchmarks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFyDhGKhHgE

just adding in most games apart from stuff like cs i find anything more then 80 fine (im running 144hz oc to 190hz) 0-0
