8700k can run an OS, it has integrated graphics, you'll be fine till you get a GPU I recommend a 1070 range one. integrated graphics aren't good and is a bottleneck, games, and stuff won't run well on just that. a system won't startup without any graphics processing is all

do the 180ti if you can otherwise you regret it later and buy it later and spend more for what you really wanted. 1070 and on is for 1440p 1440p+144hz you need a 1080/ti

nice loop but why... on that old core 2 platform, probably would have been worth getting ryzen 3. this system is weird: a platinum 760watt psu , a 970 (not a bad thing) , then the mobo and cpu is just weird when do you get your case looks like you modded that hp pavilion with carbon fiber wrap

hey thanks, yeah they are quiet if you keep the rpm low, at about 900 rpm you start hearing them a little, no whine i don't mind it at all. i did't have three fans like that right away but you get two stock Fractile fans included and i thought it waste not to use one in that extra spot, i never checked the heat on the psu actually, but i assume this would help as its blowing directly on it. i can feel cool air coming out of the back of the psu's exhaust so i assume it's doing just fine.

yup, up the voltage. only some with special dies are able to do it, samsung B die's, give it a google

i have mine at 3.7 it does 77c at load on idia64 i have a 5 nauctua fans in a define C usinmg a u12s with 2 fans on it push pull
