From what I've heard, my friend is currently in the process of buying a gtx 650 and a 3rd gen i3 from someone
Its an older picture of my build when I still had my NZXT X41 Kraken, its now in my sisters build here https://pcpartpicker.com/b/ghQV3C
Unless you bought your mobo open box or used all motherboards should at least include a sata cable, even the low end ones. Your case(not actual case) is really weird.
Also are you going to use up the rest of your space in your case for more drives? Gotta have somewhere to store those dank memes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
It wasn't my choice, but I do have the case it copycat _^
Well since this is my sister's build I'll leave it up to her if she wants those upgrades or not.(When I built my first PC I got a 120GB SSD for my OS and an aftermarket cooler [https://pcpartpicker.com/b/vyBPxr])
Yea this case is basically the Thermaltake copy of my Fractal R5 case, and this is really so pose to be a purple build but my little sister did not want custom water cooling and we had to go with what we could afford/was available at the store.
Just enough space and I'm not quite sure if temps changed for the better or not since I did a completely new cooling method, but so far I'm getting pretty good temps(temps are listed below the parts list).
When my friend who is on the Z77 chipset upgrades I'll probably upgrade as well to the newest Intel 6-core or 8-core processor. That's if a company releases a blue Mobo.
Well this 8350 is from my last build ( http://pcpartpicker.com/b/vyBPxr ) their is very little difference in performance with the i5-4690K(my other choice at the time). Also their was about a $100 difference between the two at the time of buying.
No the 8350 performs as good as an Intel i5 or sometimes better.
Eh I'm starting to hate it now. Recently the mic would make a weird sound like an old computer and also it seems like every couple of hours I would have to untangle the wires since they seem to curl up to the point where it is starting to drag my dac across of my desk.
possibly 2nd 980, definitely a new SSD for games since both of my drives are 70% full, 2 new monitors, maybe new speakers(since these are low tier ones I have), also a new microphone since I'm having problems with the modmic.
I love the case, its actually a bit more harder to get fingerprints on than a gloss case. Also its really quiet just using the fans it came with.
I'm primarily looking for a cooler that goes with the build but I will consider maybe putting a Noctua fan inside of my case.
Nice build but are you changing the build or something because the parts in the parts list don't match up to the ones in the photos. They are the SSD's, GPU, Case, and RAM. Btw I came here expecting to see the R5 to see builds using it.
New pictures are in. Sorry it took a while.
This build is very similar to mine but I would like to suggest a few things. First the video card is out of stock or is overpriced on almost every website that sells it and it is better to either go with the 290x 8GB model or just the regular 290 since their isn't much of a difference between the two. Second if you are like me and want to have perfect color match change the ram to the G.Skill ares series since it goes with the mobo and gpu better, the HyperX memory is a different blue than the mobo and gpu. But overall I am glad to see a similar build to mine on the build guides front page :D
Yea it dose a bit but it isn't as bright as in the picture.
Dude this is really overkill for a gaming PC but its your money and you choose how you want to spend it.
