truly a vain system, i like the pictures of the tglass enthoo and the fabric cables :)
Ah "The Beast" we meet again :) :) :)
Interesting. Is it noisy?
you're right about that cooler master 212 being a pain to install. But most air coolers are a pain! Hopefully it runs nice and quiet :) gj
Why is the fan crooked?
bottle of aspirin in da photo
Noctua's low profile cpu cooler seems to be the favorite for the node 202. Otherwise a real beauty you have there!
Nice one wineman:)
Amazing. No idea why more people don't do the basic of audio research and get similar.
Had to upvote cos nongarbage speakers. The amount of Logitech foulness on this site is boggling. Nice computer too ;)
Nicela. Also, here is the quietest and best performing 1080 at time of writing: (it also happens to be blue) http://www.palit.biz/enews/event/worldwide/geforce_gtx1080_gamerock/index_en.php
digital foundry did a really cool video on the i5-2500k with skylake and canyon comparisons. it held up there too!
S A N D Y B R I D G E
Brb just got married pretending to be him
also get some real speakers. i know you can afford it. those logitechs make my ears bleed!
i shuddered when i saw that aio. especially posted on this page!
gaming x all the way. the measurements for acoustics show it's far quieter and far cooler with those two big fans rather than the three tiny ones on asus and other mfg. overclocks for the aibs are very similar across all brands.
we have the same wireless ac pcie card :)
High 60's isn't really that bad for this setup. If you can fit another case fan in or increase case fan rpms in bios or software that'll help heaps.
yep i have nfi why the testing bench type cases aren't more popular with all of us nerds. i mean the installation and the looks alone are just so much better than towers.
yeah it also really shows that there aren't that many games which will be CPU bound if you even have a 5 year old 4.5ghz+ quad core with 2k+mhz ram :D
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frNjT5R5XI4 this was the film. 2500k still relevant, amazingly!
digitalfoundry had an interesting live fps analysis and showed that with the high frequency ram, OC sandy bridge is very similar to skylake. imo only reason to upgrade is either for more cores like e937 said or for usbc, more lanes etc (mobo/platform features)
i love this case so much. it's such a shame it's not available in australia, i'd get it in a heartbeat. nice build bruhbruh
yes, he still should have called it The BeastKappa
from what i've read on the 6700k it's usually 6-10 celsius. intel using cheap TIM unfortunately
the lights are so pretty!
IMO should have called it "the beast"
Ooc What's broadwell-e got that you want?
Yay optimisation! Nice build by the way. I like the custom loop look without all the modular requirements :)
Peasant edition gave me a chuckle
Probably for looks. You are correct in saying that Z170 boards optimally should have 2 x 16gb. Although it's not a huge perf difference
First of all stunning photos. Let me stress in no uncertain terms that I am absolutely flabbergasted at the intense detail rendered in front of my eyes.
Secondly, is that a DAC on your desk? +1 for that DAC.
next thing will be rgb sata cables tbh :D
I liked this so much I punched myself in the face. well done +1
WE CAME HERE FOR PICS OF THE BUILD AND ESPECIALLY PICS OF THE INSIDE OF UR COMPUTER NOW GIVE :)
Nice one and thanks for the benchmarks. Love the high frame rate builds!
Love it. The best of both worlds; custom hardware with mac os. Immediately after pressing save on this post I will scroll up and click +1.
maybe he does some editing also? also why not max out ram for $100, it's not a lot of money to some people. the second gtx 1080 will help for 4k frame rates too, if he's going down that route
upvoted for MACOS, such a nice operating system. it really purrs when you pair it with good hardware like this!
you should upload a shot of your box next to mac os desktop on your monitor :D
try some closeups of the fittings and **** :)
damn i was gonna mention the teeth :F
Should have called this "the beast" imo
my guess is he already had mobo/ram/cpu from ages ago
far worse than failed parts would be the noise
