Now I have seen this build, what am I looking for, oh look it's ASUS.... Nice one!!
You did something wrong, I have Gigabyte and Asrock in the past, and the Tuf isn't even in the same category as the ROG line, ask any real enthusiast and they will tell you that is like a notch above bottom tier mobo's from ASUS, and I can only imagine that you just did something wrong when you put it together, I have owned a ton of PC parts from every name brand company damn near and ASUS has always and will always deliver great products, I am not a fanboy I just know what is good and what isn't! The build I am putting together now is a Gigabyte build, so I am not a biased person... I don't see tons of complaints only a few, and like I said it is usually the builders fault and not the hardware, my buddy owns a PC repair shop and he said 90% of the time he gets a PC in with what they think is a hardware issue it is software, or the RAM needed to be reseated or the drivers were messing it up, but I a wasn't trying to argue only point out facts instead of opinions!
About the NZXT product, they have always done that same with Razer, and a bunch of others, they don't take personal files only files that help them record data to help their product, it's 2020 and there is a lot worse than NZXT on the net....lol EDIT: Also their is a way to stop that from happening!!
I am not sure what you are on about, but all the newer mobos have the optional wifi, and ASUS is one of the best companies out there, most people who don't like them are the ones who can't afford them, and Gigabyte is just as expensive as ASUS!!
I am not sure because I don't have those fans, but is the rear, top and bottom fans all pulling, and the front pushing?? If so I would recommend turning them all around, front intake to rear/top exhaust, not sure about the bottom fan because I don't use one, but I would assume also an exhaust, if they are already doing that than sorry for the inconvenience... This build looks so amazing great job!!
Good luck talking on a mic with that thing that close, they are soooo loud, but love the small form pc builds!
Was wondering how the GPU holds up with 1440p gaming, and if you are using maxed settings or what not, thanks in advance...
64GB will not do anything at all in gaming, you don't need more than 8, not sure what you are talking about, and you can't possibly be playing Ark at 4k max settings and getting 60fps or better that game is terrible and very demanding, if I am wrong I would love to see benchmarks!
I don't get the reason for the CPU and the AIO, this thing runs hot unless you don't overclock, and a 2080 super on 1080p is just wow, it will look amazing after you fix the cables but a huge waste if you don't use the CPU and GPU for it's full potential!
They are 2 times the price and only 10% faster, with "ray tracing" which I have yet to notice while gaming!
If you run at base speed you will be fine, but if you are not going to overclock than why even buy it, just get a i7-9700k? Just food for thought!
How can you sit that close to the monitor, that is way too much, I would go blind and break my neck...lol.....Great setup though!
I would like to see what it said, kinda weird this is from a month ago, not sure what it would be from?
$1500 PC and a $10 mouse and a keyboard from the clearance section of Amazons bucket of bolts list...lol
These RBG rainbow builds are getting so old and ridiculous, going for orange and white or maybe white and green, but I just no I can't look at another RBG build, that is what I have now and I am not a huge fan after all, that's why I am building new PC, that and I really really want to try out the new AMD CPU... Looks good but looks the same as all other builds!
Glad you fixed it I read that , and immediately said "********" lol
Could've went for RX 570 8GB, cheapest back then was $230, then a Freesync monitor for same price!! Other than that nice build!!
Honestly, unless he got it for a good price, then it is better to spend a tiny bit more for IPS, if it is for gaming, in which I would think it is or he wouldn't choose 144hz!
The best part of building a PC, is building how you want and what you want it for, stop hating, because nobody cares if your triggered or not!!!
It is mounted wrong!
Nothing wrong with Hue+, I have had no issues, same with 2 friends with same setups, it must have been a hardware issue!
I saw the post about he overclocking, and that issue was fixed! Plus that was for AMD versions of the mobo, and the ones in that video were pre-release!! Nice build looks great!
Google does wonders, from what I see, average temps at idle are in the mid 30s and under load the high 40s to low 50s!! All these were tested at out of package setups and OC'd!!
Bro, you are nuts, check performance guides and benchmarks, you want to spend 2k on something that is only using partial potential, be my guest, but he built it for gaming, 1080p 144hz, and you can do that with 980ti or 1070 and 16gb of RAM, all the extra money for what!!??!! Could buy sick monitor to use the full potential of that GPU and as for the memory, nobody to this date is really seeing any use of more than 16gb, and even that is more than needed for gaming!!
Nice looking, but waste of money and overkill, the CPU and all the unnecessary RAM and the 1080ti on a 1080p monitor, you could've saved money and bought a nice monitor or just saved money! No it's not jealousy or envy, it is just fact!! Like I said it is beautiful and well put together!!
Looks like old thread, but you should never put PC on carpet, other than that great build looks beautiful!!!
I still don't understand these overkill builds, 1070ti and 1080 run 1440p 144hz perfectly, and if you are mostly gaming which I would assume due to the GPU, then I also would've picked the i5-8600k, which is the best CPU for gaming atm.... All that money and you are using 1080p and 1440p monitors??!! Nice build very clean, but what a waste of that GPU!!
All that money, I would've done so much better, honestly it's nice, but they gave you all that money and this was you answer??!! Oh he is 13, now I see..... Nice build and all, but for that kind of money, just.....wow
Ram speed can easily be OC'd and the speed honestly doesn't matter at all better off getting lower speed and more sticks!!!, the monitor though, is a must, the 1080ti bottlenecks at 1080p, not for real but for real.....
Look it up, benchmarks for 1300x all say Superseded by the Ryzen 3 2200G !!!
New build with the MSI Titanium
What do you think??

Thanks a ton for your replies I love your build it inspired me for the first one I did, and got me to do tons of research which led me to the revision of my build, I just like the UEFI setups in MSI a ton and ASUS a little more. Great Job an your build it looks fantastic!!
Also your thoughts on the M.2 and if I really need it or not cause like I said I am new to all this all I know is what I've learned over the years and what I have been researching the past few days to a week now.
List of mobo's I am stuck between the one I like the most is the titanium for OCing and for gaming I like the Alpha but I could just be going way to nuts for a build like this!! LOL
Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO
Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO ALPHA
MSI Z170A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM EDITION
MSI Z170A GAMING M7
ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K6+
ASRock Z170 OC Formula
Oh, very nice I am very stuck on the build of o 980ti, also it is 1080 atm, but it will be 4k within 6 or 7 months so i don't want to make the jump and already have spent the money on a 970. I will post a list of motherboards and if anyone including yourself would give me some thoughts to which board to use for gaming some streaming and most definetly OCing...lol I would appreciate it a ton.. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/VZ9b7P keep in mind I was aimging for $2000 build or close to it.
P.S. please take it easy I have been working with(games, downloads, fixing via youtube) PC for long time but never knew much about them at all til lastnight maybe 2 days now ...lol
Hello MaliciousKen, can you please tell me how your build is running I am a first timer who is stuck between 3 to 4 mobos and you own one of them I play games like Rust and a few graphic intensive games including Ark: Survival Evolved which I know those games are not stable and will have a hard time running at 60 fps anyways also how the OC is in the UEFI I would really appreciate a response
