Thanks. Fitting the drives in there was definitely a challenge. As for the power supply, I think it is a bit below what was recommended for the 960. However, when I first set it up several years ago (and minus a few hard drives) I measured it's power usage with a kill-a-watt. Even under full load I only measured about 170w. Probably a little higher now with more drives, but it should be well within the capabilities of the PSU. The low(er) wattage processor probably helps in this regard.

I usually end up doing a fair bit of everything. The 1080's been real nice for video encoding. As for noise, the noctuas keep it quite. Even when the fans have to speed up they don't get much louder. The only thing in this system that will really make noise is the gpu when under heavy load. However even with that, I would still consider it fairly quite.
