drops 9k on a pc, too cheap to do a custom water cooling rig

w8 nvm the 9k is from an overpriced 4k tv and 1.5k headphones. I still would have gone for custom liquid cooling though.

I only have 1 question: Did you just get the founders edition for aesthetics? b/c it seems like anything else would have been a better choice, even the other blowers like the msi areo or any other one.

Edit: anyway, nice build, Especially with the restricted size cable management.

ok I just want to put this out there 2k is not really a "budget build" I think 1500 for the whole setup is the maximum you can go and still cal it a budget.

Great budget build! I assume that it can run most AAA games, in that my I7 2nd gen Integrated graphics laptop can do the same. The cables are forgivable in a case that size, but again great build!

I would go to amd if they made a $400 card, as the 480 just isn't rared well at 1440p gaming, so I'm going for the 1070. But anyway, nice build!

Edit: I mean a good 1440p card under 500.

yep, somewhat what I meant in that you get the basics, and then there are the aesthetics of an aio build, then you can get sleeved cables, and more storage or ssds, and it just goes downhill from there.

you'd be surprised how fast 1200 can go to 1500 when you start to factor in compatibility and getting better components. If you ask me you would have been better off with a I-5 6600K and a gtx 1070.
