Really? What would you have recommended? I didn't want to spend a ton on it...
Maybe, but then I couldn't get Trident Z RGB, which was must for me... Also, I got it on sale, so it was $100 for 8GB or $160 for 16GB
I just found a 1070 for $340, might get it
Sorry for the potato camera...
I wasn't aware that you could hear the pump... That sucks. Are you selling the AIO?
You should've gotten a caselabs case
Getting rid of the liquid cooler was a mistake
Sorry, I found a local 1070 for a really good price and couldn't pass it up... : (
I believe the 2nd slot runs in x8 mode, while it is a Physical x16 slot... Not sure if it will actually effect performance though, since the only thing I've seen x8 bottleneck is a Titan V
Dual channel is faster, yes, but the difference is barely noticeable in games. It's only really noticeable in applications where you have to churn large amounts of info through the cpu, such as video editing.
Nice! Only think I could recommend is a new case... The 780T is a bid dated. How's the PSU working for you?
i'll think about it... It's barely used and in great shaped, don't even think it's XMP'd... Are you interested in another budget GPU, or do you already have a replacement one?
How much would you take off the price for a 2*8 GB set of Trident Z RGB 3000 MHz?
Yea, I can recommend be quiet! coolers... They've been great in my experience
I would've gone with the Phanteks P300 case, it has tempered glass... Only thing I could recommend upgrading is to get more ram and an aftermarket cooler, so it will run quieter.
More pics pls...
Any idea where I can find that kind of Acrylic, I can't find any clear acrylic with a black top layer to be etched out...
Thanks! Do the lights mount on the side of the acrylic or sandwiched underneath of it and the actual midplate (metal)?
If you want, the Dark Rock 3 is a bit smaller I believe. You can add a second fan to the back too...
I would recommend the be quiet! Dark Rock 4... Not the Pro version, don't think that will fit.
I would recommend getting an overclockable CPU and motherboards, either an 8600k and a z370 board of a 1600 or 1600x and an X470 board. Other than that, the mismatched ram would drive me crazy...
What coolant did you use?
Nice build! Only thing I would change is buying some cable combs for the 24-pin and GPU cables... It'll look a lot nicer
Im calling a feature... How many have you had now ApocPony?
Not bad for a budget build... I would recommend getting another stick of ram before anything else
Not too bad for the price...
I'm in the same boat, wanted a 1080, settled for a 1050 ti...
How do you get cases for that price?
AN S340 Elite for $15?
Why Windows 7?
Nice build, but you should've gotten at least a 1050 Ti...
Where did you get the Copper IHS?
I don't think you have enough RGB...
It already is
LGA 3647 is Xeon scalable
No, LGA 2066, or skylake x, replaced LGA 2011-#
How did you get the MOBO for that price?
That cable management is amazing... compared to a PC from 2010
Why a Mini-ITX Board in an mATX case?
How does the Slim Radiator perform?
That moment when a work PC has the same GPU as your gaming PC
It's because all of the new smartphones use LPDDR4, so RAM makers shifted their focus towards that, since it is a larger industry.
How's the case?
What was his first case?
Nice budget build! And potato to take the pictures!
Why would you choose the Evolv over the Dark Base?
VM's with a single core? What would you be doing?
Get rid of the wired adapter
