Well it leaves a tiny bit of room. I'd say a little over half an inch or 15mm.
Love this build!
Pitch black build. Nice.
I got my Sapphire R9 390 for $264 thanks mate!!!!
How did you get the R9 390 so cheap?
Ugh you may want to get that PSU or motherboard 24pin issue checked out..
Damn mines came with no powder coating. HAHA oh well.
Did you spray the inside black? Nice build btw.
Haha that's fine then.
Dude you should put in the Black Friday prices stops people like me from talking about it haha.
Black Friday is all I needed to know about PSU hahaha makes sense.
The monitor deal I can believe cause when I was buying mine there were going for $110-130. I found mine for $93 before tax. Dude it's not that you should've skimped price wise. My problem was and is that you paid $83 for a corsair csm 550. Don't get me wrong they are fine for a budget build or htpc, but they have less reliability. You could've got a EVGA,Seasonic, or Antec PSU for 50-70 that have more power wattage and more reliability. Although the only upgrade path he has with a 550w psu is a GTX 970 or older hardware. The 950 was available for 170-150 that totally within the gap if he didn't get the psu or Z97 motherboard. Although it's way too late now.
Why'd didn't you RMA the first card and also don't just let others buy for you without doing some research yourself... Even if you wanted Nvidia cards, a GTX 970 was well within your reach. Oh well what's done is done.
You spent way to much money.Don't get anything me wrong great build. But that i5 4590 is at the same price as the 4690K,The 960 4gb is way over the price for just a 960 you could've got a 290 or a GTX 970 if your dropped that Z97 board and went for H97.
Mhm your cable management is great! Although I don't prefer the case ether, but nonetheless this is a great pc build.
If I was him I would've found a deal on a monitor gone for a cheaper PSU( or better for the price) and got a 950 or 280* used.
Sexy parts for the build,Ok case!
All I can say is fully modular psu and zip ties would've made your itx experience better.
Thats logic that I like.
Its at home I'm at Uni right now.So I have no idea about that, but I was going to test it on Thanksgiving
Its fine I wish it had easier boot options but otherwise it does fine since I can't really OC.
Haha yeah I feel yeah I have a Windows 8.1 Key,but I'm not going to use it til I get a new CPU&Mobo.I'll try the SSD out,but after I save up some money I'll get 2 1tb drives and the a larger ssd.
Thank you mate!
Not really anywhere to put he wires nor is it really "manageable",but if you have any ideas I'm all ears.
Tough games like the Witcher 3 40 to 50.Everything else is 50-60.
I overclock to 3.06 GHz.The motherboard has bits and pieces that blocks mounting hardware,so I'm limited in upgrade options, but I'll find something. An SSD would be nice, but I think I'll get a 1TB HDD first cause I want to play TF2 but I filled up my drive already.
The Witcher 3 gets about 40-56
GTA V 50fps to 60
Everything else is Old games so I max them out.Oh and Skyrim runs at 60fps
If you have the dough go for the 970,but if you want a card with solid detail and runs pretty cool then get a 960.
Ok well glad to you provided what he wanted.Although some would urge you should've persuaded him why a 970 is better it doens't matter cause if you have money, free will, and you do what you want who gives a crap= Good job mate!
Judging by your 2 960's your probably in an another country where its harder to get a single 970 versus 2 960s in SLI.I like the name its fits the build wonderfully.
See I was going to say bottleneck, but if all you use is single threaded games(older games) your fine. Its why I had a 970 and the G3258 til I got an i5 4690k.The broke life.
I think he means as cheap as a 970 and an unlocked i5 can get.
There is snug there is this.Dude I love the little build though.
