This monitor is gorgeous and sharp. I like the 1920x1200 resolution, and the rotation capability.
I wish it autosensed which input I was using when I first plugged it in to my new build, but I had to use the monitor's menus to manually select the correct input. For awhile, I thought I had a problem with my video card, and nobody needs that kind of stress.
16:10 aspect ratio, perfect for image editing, film editing, graphics, etc, since you get the additional vertical pixels (huge benefit) for something in this field.
16:9 for gaming is probably the biggest myth the industry could of sold. 16:10 is great. Stop complaining. No difference. Then again, I'm not a big gamer and this monitor was bought strictly for work.
No dead pixels on arrival. No dead pixels 1 year in (lets hope it stays that way)
Great colour reproduction, flicker less, and a joy to work with. Love it!
Seeing that my previous setup boasted a single 20" monitor that required 7-10 presses on its power button to turn on, the dual Dell U2415 monitor setup has been an amazing upgrade!
The monitor doesn't auto-sense inputs, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. The resolution is crisp and I appreciate the rotation capability. It can be adjusted, tilted, rotated, and it's VESA compatible, in case that's your thing.
I was waiting for the price to drop to $239.99 but I bought mine at $269.99 because everything else had already come in.
Got it for free. Lots of frame stuttering in games, heavy, looks OK.
This was cheaper by the S2417 because it's 1080 (1200?) and lacks G-Sync, but for what it is it's actually pretty great. It definitely is the more professional looking of the two. It's IPS and 60Hz. If I wasn't gearing for 144Hz, I could easily see myself getting this one. I still love my S2417 even with both bunched together. It does look bigger than the S24 even though they're supposed to be the same size.
This is my secondary monitor. This comes with the miniDP. Thought I had a faulty cable, turns out you have to manually choose that, because it defaults to DP.
Nice 16:10 monitors.
Perfect for designers. Color accuracy is excellent.
Love its ability to adjust height/pitching/rotation, and the additional USB/audio ports on its back panel.
In search of balance between gaming and normal use, I decided to buy this general purpose monitor as the choice for this build. Considering that it is one of the important part of the build, this was recommended to me.
