This is a great case to build in, very understated with good soundproofing and internal airflow. Lots of cooling options available with easy cable management. Looks premium and isn’t flashy with only a single blue LED letting you know what’s going on inside.

This case is fantastic. It looks good, it feels good. It has tons of space to work in, and still manages 5 drive locations. It comes with cable ties and has an abundance of spots to tie down additional ones. Rubber grommets. The modu-vents can be tough to remove in my experience but they're a fantastic idea. The sound dampening efforts really pay off too. Also it's so large you can fit a massive radiator up front, with push-pull, and have room to spare. My ONLY complaint is that I wish it were slightly lighter, yet it's still lighter than tons of its competition.

Case: I cannot say enough good things about this case. I bought the version without a clear side panel because I knew I was going to build my own. The quality and functionality was perfect for my ideas. When I came up with the idea to side mount 5.25 drive bays this one fit the bill. Cables just disappear behind the case which is a lifesaver because the Aerocool and EVGA 850 G2 are akin to jelly fish with all the wires that come out of them. You can't tell with this case. Cable management is amazing, air flow is amazing, it's simply a good looking, practical and affordable case.

Its a quiet case with tons of room for activities in it like water cooling, it supports two 360MM rads and a 140MM which is a crap load of rad's for a mid tower case and will allow it to water cool just about any parts out there, there is no max gpu length really the case which is nice but a long gpu can make working with the sata ports on some motherboards hard but that should not be a issue if you do before hand. It supports up to 9 140MM fans which I find crazy for a mid tower. The only downside is that cable management can get a little tight and the lack of a optical drive but I wouldn't count that against it since you should know what you are getting into.

Love this case. Its a huge case (probably too big), but makes it very easy to complete a nice clean build. Comes with two fans which was a nice touch

Interesting spin on the classic Define R series of cases. I didn't use this for any watercooling, which is its one main benefit, but it worked great for normal use. The sound dampening on the side panels is thick and works decently well, and the mounting solutions for the 3.5" and 2.5" SSDs are good enough. They managed to move all of that mounting to behind the motherboard tray which leaves a huge empty space in from of your motherboard (for water cooling components), but it's kind of nice to have a little open area in front even if you aren't planning to add any water cooling there. Comes with only 2 case fans, 1 intake and 1 exhaust. I would recommend picking up another intake fan if you're gong to use this case with any hot components.

Sleek, no-frills design. Good airflow. Plenty of space for building and cable management. Handy built-in velcro straps to aid cable management. Also provides great room for water cooling, if that's something you're interested in.

from completed build My new PC
Pros:Design; no mounts for optical drives; good airflow; soundproof
Cons:Bottom dust filter cannot be accessed from the front; front panel defect; no sound insulation on front panel; small feet; bad cable management if you install HDDs in all 3 mounts ; no filter on the side panel and the top; thin steel
My case have defect in the center of a front panel (only slightly visible), fractal design support answered me that it's normal for this model.
