A really lovely Mid-Sized case that even has its own section of the case in the back panel made for cable management. Customization is another key to have the ability to take off panels, unscrew HDD trays if needed.

Simplistic, elegant design, all around awesome case with great growth potential inside. I use classic air cooling at the moment, but I might upgrade to water-cooling as the case is begging for it. Thanks to it size and configurations, airflow is great, noise is nigh nothing (the only thing I ever hear is my optical drive checking out itself). If you prefer shiny illuminated extravagant rigs, this might not be the best choice. However should you want a polite beast, with excellent cable management, go for it!

Oh, and on an important side note: the case is heavy. 11 kg on its own. It's not for travelling types.

I love this case. It has several configurable options, mostly for airflow, that I really appreciate and is really easy to work with. Great for cable management, comes with instructions for the entire PC build if you need it, and has properly labeled and organized case cables for all the front i/o and such. It's very sturdy and super quiet, just a really great case.

Fantastic case for a great price. Build quality and functions excellent. Comes with a few carefully planned changes to the R4.

This piece of beauty is silent, filters dust, looks very sleek, yet elegant, and it is affordable while offering exceptional cable management. It also offers two case fans with a fan switch and four USB ports (2x 2.0 and 2x 3.0). What more could you ask for?

The Define R5 is a very easy to build in case which is oriented toward silent building but can allow for a lot of customization and while not directly intended for water cooling is a very easy case to use as such. When I built in the case I didn't feel at all like I was constrained or at all restricted in what I did, I have plenty of room the maneuver in the case and lots of area for running my wiring. with eight removable hard drive trays in the front and two SSD mounts in the back this case has plenty of room for storage, and did I mention that they are configurable you can move the HDD cages around inside of the case to make room for larger graphics cards or even for water cooling. The moduvent system in the top and side of the case allow for plenty of fans or radiators to be mounted inside the case, and while a triple 120mm fan setup is possible you may have to remove your 5 1/4" drive bays, all but the top and side fan mounts are dust filtered and should help keep your system clean longer. the only draw back to the sound dampening foam inside the case is the fact that it make the case very heavy with a curb weight of 20lbs, my system when completely filled up weighs in at more than 40lbs. Another thing to keep in mind is that this is a mid tower case and if you intend to keep this on your desk or make sure you have plenty of room to fit it as it is very large. Over all Fractal did an awesome job on this case and I cant wait to use and review more of their cases

Wow! This case is beautifully designed inside and out. It's quite a bit larger than I expected, but that worked in my favor when it came to installing the components.

It's also extremely quiet, as advertised. I have a CPU fan, GPU fan, two case fans, three HDD, and a large power supply, yet I can barely hear it, even when I listen for it. With such a powerful PC, the noise was one of my main concerns. There was no need for concern there.

I was also concerned about the heat, especially because I live in a desert climate. Coupled with the component specific fans, the two built in case fans keep things under control without question. This is another benefit of the larger case.

Very impressed with this case. Comes with pretty much anything you might need, ample room for drives and peripherals, solid cable management, good airflow and it's QUIET. I barely even notice my PC is on in a quiet room.
