from completed build My Main Rig

Can't give it more than two stars due to the misconfigured OPP and prone-to-fail fuse, which makes this unit a significant fire hazard. On top of this issue revealed in professional testing, my unit, in particular, must be unplugged for five minutes after loss of power or it won't turn back on. I know the issue lies in the PSU as it's followed me across builds with completely different equipment and components.

If you're shopping around this budget, I'd recommend you go with a Corsair CXM PSU. It's not fully modular, no, but it's much more reputably constructed.

Fully modular 550W Power supply for under $70. I run it in ECO mode and it makes no noise. It does not have a CPU2 plug, but I don't think any PSUs with 550W do. So no big deal there. All wires are black. Fits as it should.

Solid unit at a good price. Modularity is a nice feature... even if I did use nearly all of the cables anyhow.

Does what it needs to and the packaged cables are nice. Mine in particular has some issues with coil whine, which is incredibly annoying. Can't be bothered to send it in, though.

Its a PSU. Does its job and I've never noticed any noise coming from it. Great price for modular EVGA PSU.

Solid power supply, would consider buying again for another low-to-midrange build like this. Only thing I wish it had was slightly longer SATA cables, but that could just be due my case's huge inner compartments.
