Works like a dream, knocked a star off as the manual kind of gives the impression that there are two single 8 pin PCIE cables included, this however is not the case, both the non-modular cable and the modular cable are both chained with two 8 pins each. Its not a big deal but when trying to make things look clean its a bit of a bummer.

Great power supply at this price point. You can tell the money went into the quality not the looks though. I'm deducting one star since the non-modular PCI-E cable comes wired to an additional 8-pin connector that cannot be separated. This wouldn't be a problem for those with Crossfire/SLI setups, but I think most people buying this PSU probably aren't putting it into those kinds of systems.

Does as it should, and came with all necessary cables.

I have noticed a slight coil whine sometimes, however you can't hear it unless your ear is next to it.
It's only semi modular and the cables are not fully black, motherboard cable is multi colored at the end, making it hard to aesthetically please in a build without sleeved extensions. I would recommend the EVGA G2 650W 80+ gold which perfects those minor things.
NOTE: This PSU died on me, so I upgraded to the EVGA G2 750W 80+ Gold, which is fantastic and has a 10 year warranty.

Tier 2 PSU, reliable and efficient. Not enough connectors for multi-GPU setups though...

I will not even try to pretend to be able to test a power supply so lets read what OklahomaWolf said about the SeaSonic SSR-650RM: http://www.jonnyguru.com/modules.php?name=NDReviews&file=print&reid=348

What can I say? it's a Seasonic and JonnyGuru give it a 9.8 out of 10. I was able to get it for $69.99 which made it too good to pass up.

it's a Seasonic 80 PLus Gold PSU, need I say more? JonnyGuru gives it a 9.8 out of 10. My only complaint is the colored cables for the main power connector

Reviewers say good things about this PSU and I agree. But what I can say about it is that cables are too stiff and the sata energy connectors are so tight you might damage your disk, so be careful. Occasionally I can hear coil whine (not much) but that might be something with my network. If it gets worse I'm sure SeaSonic would send me a new one.
