Such a beautiful case the tempered glass allows for you to see inside, which i love to do from time to time. I didnt pay the $20 extra for the 10 color lights because i wanted to get something i could control through software.
Amazing looking case that was a dream to work in. This case has enough space to do whatever I wanted and cable management was not as difficult as some reviews made me believe. The case looks absolutely gorgeous. I absolutely love the PSU window as well as the front SSD placement. Only complaint is cable routing to the SSD is a bit difficult without having the SSD turned upside down.
Despite two issues, the big aluminum Phanteks case is a pleasure to work in. It looks just as good as I imagined it would sitting up against my black tempered glass desk. Two windows means cable management needs a lot of attention, and the case helps with that through built-in wire straps and a large basement for hiding extra slack. However, with only one obvious cable routing path it would have been much easier to hold everything together if the straps were longer. As everything sits now they just barely stay velcroed together. Additionally, one of the two USB 3.0 ports on the front of the case is dead, which was a tad disappointing to find out after I had everything installed. Fortunately I don't use them often enough for it to be a real issue.
I will add a cooling discussion once I achieve a stable clock speed.
Where do I begin ? I wish I could give this thing 10 stars. It really is the most beautiful case I have ever built in. The tempered glass really makes this case stand out from the rest. My one tiny little gripe with this case is there aren't enough cable management standoff on the back of the case. In you want to manage, you've got to get creative. I love this case (did I mention that already ?)
Beautiful, beautiful case. Lovely to build in, 10/10 would recommend to anyone, new builder or experienced.
In my eyes, one of the highest quality, best looking cases on the market. It is very easy to build a super clean looking rig with this case. Good cable management capability and for the components there is much space to breath. Unfortunately it is not possible to remove the PSU-shroud (for swapping cables on the psu for example). The sliding 'fan/rad-mounting-grid' in the top is not the best solution for (thicker/sandwiched) radiators. There are several Tutorials how to use this limited space better. With one front mounted radiator not a problem at all. To bring down the temps a little more, I swapped the factory front with a custom front from mnpctech. The original almost closed front is not ideal but 'enough' for airflow.
Originally had corsair 750D airflow edition case then I stumbled across this sexy case and I just couldnt stop thinking about all the sexiness and could not pass up. It went on sale around black friday and i could not pass it up so i snagged one up and I have not been disappointed!!
I love the aesthetic of this case, and the inclusion of RGB lighting control only makes it sweeter. The case is fairly easy to work with, though I will say it gets pretty tight against the backside after running all of the cables. Everything comes apart pretty easy, and there is plenty of airflow. The only complaint the I have is the top offset bracket. It's by no means a bad part, but it is really annoying to remove as it requires 5 screws, located on both sides of the case. This doesn't sound like a problem, until you need to move it in order to plug in a fan cable or move the lighting strip. Then it can become really annoying. If you're doing a build like this, be smarter than me. Don't screw the bracket back in until you have guaranteed that everything is running well.
I love the overall look of this case clean and beautiful. A few complaints
1. The thumb screws that hold the gpu in place are hard to get to
2. They could have included the four pin connector to connect the led on the case to the motherboard for the price
There's a reason this case is so popular.
Gorgeous tempered glass, easy to work in, plenty of room for cable management (especially if, like me, you aren't spectacular at it), and sturdy construction. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone working with ATX form factor.
