from completed build First build: 9600k + RTX 2070

Silent most of the time and the build quality and packaging is very nice.

The 2018 model of the RM650x was released around the time I was purchasing a PSU, and it was actually cheaper than the last model. This thing is very sleek looking with the all black cables and body. And it even comes with a 0 RPM mode when components in the computer aren't demanding much power. But even if the fan is spinning, I was never able to and actually still haven't heard it.

A fully modular PSU with zero fan mode. A reliable model according to reviews.

A bit bigger than I should have got for my H200 case, but gets the job done well.

Clean installation. Fully modular helps manage cables.

Specifically went modular so I could swap cables; and picked the (2018) due to the reduced dimensions; hoping it'll help with airflow.

Cables are very fat and take up a lot of room for cable management but other than that no problems

Can't tell anything till it caches on fire LOL.

UPDATE: I love how this thing stays quiet when not under load! I rarely see the fan kicking in. Only in games and rendering.

Er, it's.... a power supply? Everyone tells you to not cheap out on one and I didn't 80+ Gold is gonna save some quid in the electric bill I suppose! Also fully modular = cable management is super easy!
