I'm currently building my parents a PC for general desktop use and I've run into an issue post-build.
When I tried to boot after finishing the build, all of my fans/drives get power; however, none of the ports on the MOBO are working. I tried plugging in various USB devices to ports directly on the MOBO & on the case that are plugged into the MOBO, but no luck. I don't believe there is an internal speaker on the board so I'm not hearing any beeps when I boot.
When I plug in my monitor, I'm getting no signal from the HDMI port. This is my second build and I encountered no issues the first time around so I'm unsure what the problem is. Is there a key step I am forgetting and this is common? Is this the all too familiar "DOA Mobo" that I'm finally experiencing? Any advice helps.
